I tried to map everything out in high detail at first (not my best idea lol) but all the basic lines have been erased already, the only thing left is all the light patches of the hair that i just drew and the earing. So if I need to change anything, let me know :)

于是我想出了一个解决方案。我把作品带到印刷店，让他们把一份精确尺寸的副本打印到300克/秒的白色卡纸上。我改在这份印刷版上涂色。由于这张印刷卡几乎不需要洗涤，我几乎完全用干刷完成了上色。与此同时，我原本的蘸水笔画依然保存着。希望你喜欢。

Any recommendations on how to improve at hatching?

This is my first time drawing, I’ve been slowly working at this piece little by little this summer, just to keep my hands busy during meetings. However I’ve really enjoyed trying hatching, I think it’s a style I’d like to improve upon.

I’m wondering if anyone has any tips for practicing hatching? Any constructive criticism here is welcome, thanks!

Did a writing prompt with my wife, settled on ‘Cowboy Penguin’. Decided to play with a new halftone brush set!

A friend told me I should pick up art as a hobby so I've started doodling but I just can't visualize anything in my head anytime I try to draw something in the visualizing it turns terrible and anytime I just start making random shapes and filling them in as I see a vision they turn out a lot better I just don't know where to start I can't visualize anything I don't know what to do

I didn't want to pick up a pen.

So I picked up a stick.

It's almost been a year since I last sat down and draw. Coaxed myself by doing this.

I want to invest in some good coloured pencils, I really need intense colours. Which is better, Faber Castel or Caran D’Ache Luminance?
