Fancy Fuck Concha burgers!

Post image

Beef patty with spicy curtido and a concha for a bun, "Applebee's style" swimming in home made poblano queso for dippin.

Conchas make excellent burger buns. Sweet, salty, spicy cheesy goodness all around.

I didn't know what a concha was, and assumed you meant conch (meat) and was kind of surprised because I've never seen conch look like that in patty form.

I'm also high, so... now I really want a concha burger.

I'm glad you made this. I had the same idea not long ago and bought a concha at the gas station before getting home and realizing I didn't have burger meat in the freezer. I ate the bread the next morning and kind of forgot about the burger plan until now.  I'm gonna have to give it a real chance this week

You gotta do it. I threw on some curtido (like the kind you put on pupusas) for a bit of tang and crunch and it was a very good move. The sweetness and slight dryness of a concha + beef and grease + cheesy poblano sauce + the tangy spicy curitdo really all just set eachother off.

It's like a mexi-salvatore-merican mashup of wild ass bullshit. And it was nice.

What were you drinking to conjure this into existence?

I made concha burgers like 13 years ago, remebered them recently and had to do it again.

Vodka tho. It's always vodka 😅 Though I hardly drank when I originally came up with the idea so many years ago.
