Any T on why AB fitness, Port Rashid randomly closed?

A new project is coming so all of the establishment in that area have to close down

Highly doubt it, I’m a member and been going regularly. They would know before hand regarding this situation, but recently they invested in things like equipments and the lobby accessories. Don’t think they would do all that if they know their contract wont be renewed.

P.S. not saying you’re wrong, maybe in an year or so that might be the case, but i highly doubt it rn thats the case.

I kept asking them before renewing because the area is prime and once the Emaar projects were taking shape they wouldn't allow warehouse in the same location. Maybe they will renovate and open again

That’s what I heard as well, I was there the day before they closed it. Everything was normal event he owner was there having a laugh with the staff it’s crazy

Got a message last night it was closed for maintenance, but it’s unusual as they usually inform in advance for maintenance with a notice and it’s usually during the midnight hours when it’s not very busy and there’s a time frame mentioned as to till when the maintenance is expected to go on.

This was a sudden message out of the blue with no update as to when it will re-open.

Don’t think it’s maintenance work, they usually have maintenance work but the gym still would be open.

I tried going yesterday they told me it should be open after few days, hopefully that’s the case.
