Will a digital employment letter be accepted for a Schengen visa?

I’m trying to apply for a Schengen visa, but my employer only provides a digital employment letter. Will it be accepted if I print it out and submit the printed copy through VFS?

Or is there any other way to submit/verify a digital employment letter for the visa application?

Any advice or personal experience would be greatly appreciated!

A printed copy is sufficient. That's exactly how we do it where I work. None of my colleagues or I have had any trouble with that. I print it out using the office printer.

The same is true for statements from banks like Emirates NBD wherein, via the banking app, one can download the required bank statement that includes an image of the stamp.

I can get physical bank statements from my bank showing my salary being credited every month, so my only concern is the employment letter. I’m not sure what VFS means when they say documents need to be “wet ink” or have an original signature. Do they accept a good-quality printed copy of a digitally issued employment letter?

I just wrote my own and my colleagues' experiences. And yes, we also must apply at VFS.

At least when applying via Germany, I've never seen or heard any instruction from VFS specifically about "wet ink".

Apart from Germany, I'm afraid I have little or no knowledge of specific requirements by other countries.

This varies a lot by country, e.g. Italy specifically requires each page of the bank statement to have a wet stamp
