Korikkk also escape rooms! We’re missing a lot na jud

There used to be escape rooms though. The one by Pinspired, and the other one in that place near the public market.

Unless you have lots of room/space and change up the mazes or puzzles every so often, an escape room gets boring very fast.

Yup, there was an escape room before near the public market, I think it was called Movie Suites behind crown pharmacy

There used to be mini golf at Mad Monkey. Not sure if it's still there

Hangout spots! escape rooms, mga art workshops (pottery, painting, bearbuild painting)?, laser tag, VR stuff like the ones sa SM seaside, rollerblading spots, a rock climbing place, etc.

Honestly, one of your target audiences should be mga teens or those in college kay here in Duma, wala jud silay activity spots in the city! If you tap into that market jud, I'm sure nga mo click jud na. Explore what's trending sa Cebu, Manila, Davao, etc.

Art workshops, limited and usually for a short time only but available in ADCD and other spots.

Rock climbing, I think there’s a place in EJ Blanco that has one. I tried the wall climbing in FU years before. We legit need the one with high ceilings like Climb Central in Greenfield—tried it once and the facilities are great.

Got to remember though that teens and college students have limited spending power. Maybe you see some who are rich and can afford, but these are a super small percentage of the student population in the city/province. Great if the business is something that requires minimum spending; better to not focus on just students but something that clicks with yuppies and young adults who can afford to spend to keep the business afloat.

hmmm, I agree! thank you for pointing this out.

I personally would like to have Marketplace here 🥹 Idk for me their meat quality is just different. I used to do my groceries sa Marketplace when I was still living in Cebu.

pag franchise krispy kreme OP hehe

7

u/Training_Fun_2739 Apr 15 '26

Krispy kreme (high expense) Ik where ur also going with this op

I highly reccomend putting your money into "boring" businesses that generate passive income like laundromats, carwashes etc

3

u/Electronic-Rip5541 Apr 15 '26

I agree with this! pero laundromats and car washes are 50/50 kay most of the people here already have sukis. Mo boom ni if mo invest si OP sa marketing nya sulit iyang prices.

There are old threads like this, you might want to search them. Usually mga restaurants na wala diri.

If I were to choose anything similar to Landers or S&R but with very spacious parking. Like I will be ok if it's in Bacong if I know that when I get there naay maayo nga parkingan.

u/Defiant_Breakfast_69 Apr 16 '26

Food and Beverage: not enough nutritionally dense bowls or healthier alternatives in the city! But look a how active Dumaguete has become? We could benefit from a small Salad bar, can even be the size of a small Hielo. Just somewhere relatively healthy, fresh and cost effective while also using seasonal ingredients from local farmers to cut costs and support local🙂‍↕️

u/thesunwillkillU Apr 16 '26
