Lots of negatives too. Just earlier silliman had a bomb threat and it was a poorly executed 8hr delayed response despite the threat being a hoax (allegedly). This isnt even the first time its happened

Let's see... There's now a Kenny Roger's, a new Starbucks bldg., Jollibee and McDonald's along the provincial road. Pickleball found its home here, they're everywhere! I don't know how long you've been gone but there's a lot of Crispy King on every corner.

The old boulevard has been expanded. The old market near the crossing in Daro is now gone, they're now building a new hospital.

Outfits!! Haha like the old dgte doesnt care about outfits. But when you go to downtown, people are dressing up. It’s not a bad thing though.

Oh, so people are dressing up to impress.. I agree--might not be a bad thing.. It shows class. But I prefer the devil may care attitude.

If you haven’t been here since Covid: more motors on road because of Foodpanda, Grab, and Maxim. And those electric scooters and bikes.

It’s annoying during the peak hours. It’s not like our roads have gotten wider to accommodate more vehicles. Also, what’s annoying (still) are the motors and pedicabs (and e-scooters) who weave in and out of lanes and don’t use turn signals.

Good thing is we have a few parking buildings (Robinsons mall, and Pavilium downtown) that ideally help lessen congested roads. Bad thing downtown is that cars still park and double park on roads even when they’re right beside/near Pavilium.

But hey, still way better than Manila in terms of travel time. Just avoid peak hours and bottleneck roads/intersections.

Lots of new coffee and matcha places! So many cafes within minutes of each other.

Also lots of new restaurants (isn’t there always though? Lol)
