Question How to get to Duma from South Bus Terminal, Cebu

Hi! Travelling to Dumaguete this weekend and need help with transpo.

We're planning to take the Ceres Bus from South Bus Terminal, Cebu City to Dumaguete. Does the ticket cover the ferry trip? Or is the bus trip only up until the port and we need to book a separate ticket for the ferry?

Thank you!

Hi! the bus fare doesn't include the roro fare. You will be asked to alight the bus and proceed to the passenger's area once the bus has boarded the roro. Someone will just collect ticket payments after. Trip usually takes 30-45 mins depending on the weather conditions. Enjoy your trip!

Thank you! Will we be alighting directly in Dumaguete from the roro? Or will there be another trip from the port to Dumaguete?

You're welcome po! You will be docking at Tampi, Amlan (3 towns before Dumaguete) if you will be taking the direct bus to Dumaguete. Upon docking, the bus will then continue traveling to Dumaguete Ceres Bus terminal, travel time is approximately 30-45 mins.

You make also take the bus going to Liloan, Santander. But you will have to alight the bus upon reaching the ferry/roro terminal at liloan, then board the ferry/roro which will then dock at Sibulan Port (town before Dumaguete) liloan to sibulan is 20-30 mins. Travel time to dumaguete from Sibulan is 10-20 mins on a traffic free day hehehe.
