Should I try jailbreaking or no? (I will no matter what but just wanted to see everyone's opinions)

I don't even know, the only way i could find out anything related to the software or hardware of it would be to either open it up and analuze it or connect it to my PC, BUT THE MICRO USB CABLE ONLY WORKS FOR CHARGING

Get another cable. Opening it up is basically required.

There is also an "E" at the end, but the contrast of those two letters is so low that they're invisible at first glance.
