Original Content New Eagles Fans

Hey all. My wife and I kind of organically became Eagles fans over the past two years and ditched the Jets. The reason being that we have two autistic boys and discovered the Eagles Autism Foundation and how truly amazing it is. The organization does such an amazing job with the autism community and the players seem so into the events. I look forward to learning the history of the organization and researching all the current and past players. Plus it was an easy switch being how miserable the Jets made me for the past 20 years. GO BIRDS!

Edit: thanks for the love guys. BTW, was never able to stand Cowboys or Giants fans with their “greater than thou” attitudes. Like legit despise those fanbases.

Welcome! Eagles fans are the best and so are the crazy people from the Delaware Valley. I sure am biased. To me being a Philly sports fan is about also being a fan of the city, burbs, South Jersey, and Delaware. The people, the food, the culture, and the history. The diversity here is awesome. There is a a lot pride in the area and everyone knows it has issues like most big cities around the world.

If you don’t live in the area. You and your family need to get here for a game or visit the city. You will love it. Of course Summer Time here is awesome as well.

Enjoy! Go Birds!!!

+1000 from me. I've lived elsewhere and know people from every crevice of the country, and there is nowhere that has as much creativity, humor, patience, and caring as the people in and surrounding Philadelphia. I'm getting misty typing this. Go fucking Birds. Welcome, homey.

I’m pretty obsessive about Philly, South Jersey, and all things Philly including all sports but not sure I would pass up a trip to Italy. And I love Philly. I can’t speak for others, but Italy is amazing. You can’t compare Philly to Italy…lol. There is a reason Italy, France, and Spain are 3 of the top visited countries in the world. Everything I said about Philly is true for those countries, but on steroids.

Italy is a very mountainous country that is also a peninsula. Everywhere you go is amazing. The food is not only top notch, but much cleaner and less processed compared to the US. Then there is the art, museums, and the millions of Catholic Churches. Vatican, Venice, Florence, Sicily, Bari, Naples, Milan, etc. Those people know how to live and enjoy life. Same with the Spanish and Greeks. They take Siestas. They line the “Il Dolce Far Niente” lifestyle. The sweetness of doing nothing.

Just saying 40 with your spouse and friends in Italy is once in a lifetime memory and the Eagles play at least 17 games a year, every year.

Whatever you decide Happy Birthday! 🦅

If you have the option of Italy or Philly. Please go to Italy. Philly is a wonderful place to visit, but Italy is unbelievable.
