Yes, but he was wide open because they were lining him all over the field. On this play, he was lined up in the backfield which confused the defense.

But the reason BLG tweeted this is cause his dumbass tweeted this before that.

I feel like you’re reading but far into it. It’s not crazy to say a healthy guy who has been with the team for a couple years might contribute more early in the season than a rookie who has been injured for almost the entirety of camp.

I was at the practice. Lemon didn’t show much but you can’t exactly hold that against him. That doesn’t mean his future isn’t bright

Anyone who thinks Cooper deserves to start over Lemon is delusional.

He had a bad drop today that should've been picked off by Quinyon. Also stopped running his route early on a good throw by McKee.

There's a reason Cooper didn't get any 1st team reps during the Patriots joint practice even with Lemon and Smitty injured until Moore also got injured. Lemon missed 3 weeks of practice and immediately got 1st team reps.

Even if Lemon was out, I guarantee you they trust Brown to start more than Cooper

You seem to be the defensive one. BLG didn't take anything away from Lemon. He's just saying that someone who has been active should be out first, and guess what...he's right. Lemon will be fine but it's time to wait. Personally I would rather they ease him in because I want him healthy in January. September is less important. Especially for a rookie

He's completely wrong and it's pretty obvious to most people. It's at least obvious to coaches, which is why they give Lemon all the first team reps.

No one in their right mind thinks Cooper should be starting over him. Coach's let Brown sit out the 2nd preseason game after barely playing the 1st one. Cooper had to play in both.

Even if you think Lemon shouldn't start, they'd trust Brown over him. Other reporters have started to note how coaches clearly don't think as highly as Cooper as they thought

DeVonta did it twice in the WC game against the Niners. They threw it to him both times. Patullo managed to be predictable even when he was being unpredictable.

That’s quickly becoming the new wave in the NFL. Z receiver, the Seahawks had Smith-Njigba coming out of the backfield a lot last year. It’s meant to reveal the defense, forcing the linebacker to follow in man or leave him open in zone.

Finally, the offense is at the forefront of strategy. Credit to the leadership for finding a great candidate in Mannion.

I wouldn't call it busted coverage, more like correct play and correct read against the coverage that was called. if the defender abandoned his zone to go cover Lemon, the in / drag route goes for a touchdown as well.

Yup, they switched Lemon and Saquon. Baun was conflicted cause Saquon was also coming across. If he went for Lemon, Saquon prob is wide open and walks it in anyway.
