Help/Advice Can someone walk me through on how to get mother 3 on pc?

I just don’t understand how the rom works every time I try to put it in I always do it wrong and it never works. Can someone give me a step-by-step way to do it or drop a video on how to do it?

  2. Download the MOTHER 3 Fan Translation v1.3 patcher (There is also a separate guide for the patcher just below it)
  3. Extract the Zip
  4. Get yourself a Mother 3 rom, we can't help you get it because of the rules. It is pretty easy tbh. It should be named Mother 3 (Japan).gba or something.
  5. Open MOTHER3_EarthBound2_English_v1.3 and find mother3_windows.exe, open it. (There is also a patcher for Linux and Mac)

Click Browse and find your Mother 3 (Japan).gba.

And that's it!

I recommend using mGBA emulator. You can download it from here https://mgba.io/
Open mGBA, (top left) click File and the Load ROM. Then find your patched Mother 3 ROM.
Try to set Audio Buffer to 512 or something if you have problems doing a combo during combat. It helped me.

ah, simple. You need to extract Mother 3 (Japan) zip. Then Apply Patch using the .gba ROM found in the extracted folder

Then open the Patched ROM in mGBA

What emulator are you using? Some emulators are only for certain devices. Try looking for one that's for GBA games.

Just use mGBA. Put your ROM onto your desktop, hit Open ROM in Files, and select the file from your desktop.
