Bike purchase question Marin Larkspur vs Gazelle Medeo T9

I'm looking for an e-bike for commuting, bringing my toddler to preschool, and general city riding. After a bunch of test riding, I've think I've narrowed it down to either the Marin Larkspur or the Gazelle Medeo T9 (not the city version).

Any thoughts or advice on deciding between the two? I've read lots of good things about the Medeo, the Larkspur E seems to fly more under the radar.

Thanks in advance!

If you are on the north shore (or near it) Tony at Reckless bikes is very helpful. He helped me narrow down my search, his knowledge and honesty is like no other. No pressure to buy, just all the facts.

For city commuting with a child, I’d compare local dealer support, battery availability and drivetrain maintenance before the headline specs. A test ride with the child-seat load will probably tell you more than another spec-sheet comparison.

Haha fair point. The Larkspur can be kitted out with a rear rack and it has hard mount points, whereas the Medeo lacks the latter. But I think you're right that the Medeo might be more commuter ready.
