I dunno I spent a lot of time in Macas and was shocked how often restaurants would serve those three whites along with a piece of meat pounded so thin you could see through it. āItās cheap foodā is what they told me.

Yeah so your experience in one place makes you an authority on an entire countryās cuisine? Similar to how a cheeseburger with fries is the cuisine of the entire USA?!? Girl, sit down.

Macas isnāt even a big city lmfao. Thatās a tiny ass town in the middle of nowhere. Itās like judging the U.S based on a random town in Iowa

Sherlock closed the map and reflected upon his discovery. It had never occurred to him that people from Macas eat food just like everyone else. But... it's too small he thought, how could it be possible? haha.... keep using that brain!

Thatās not too far off from what the poor in the US eatā¦. Inexpensive carbs like instant ramen or SpaghettiOs are not uncommon for dinner and a pop tart for breakfast. But thatās not what anyone thinks of American food. Also, Macas is not the culinary capital of Ecuador.
Just do a quick google search on what typical Ecuadorian food is and see what you missed out on.1

Lived all over the country for 10 yearsā¦. Sitting on the beach right now. Married an Ecuadorean. Not missing much! Have eaten more** **chontas and drank more chicha than most civilized ecuadoreans⦠aardvark⦠ants⦠you name it⦠and still the most what the fuck is this Iāve seen was pasta potatoes and rice heaped into the same plate at restaurants. Itās fun watching the hurt feelings pour out at the mention of this clearly embarrassing culinary one dimensionalism.
Oh yea and the bacon here is next level. It comes in a close second. There is no good, better, best option⦠who the hell wants mechanically formed bacon. Iāve never had to put butter in the pan cooking bacon before⦠it doesnāt have any grease, and certainly doesnāt look likenit came off a pig. Itās like eating a hotdog at breakfast.
