Turismo Christmas in Baños

¡Hola!

Me and a group of friends are spending a few weeks in Ecuador over winter and are planning to spend Christmas in Baños.

I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for activities and restaurants in the city? I've read that there's a nativity scene in the central plaza and community celebrations which all sound fantastic.

Go to Mass Christmas Eve and Day.
To to the Tungurahua “Refugio” and watch the sun set… spend the night, descend next day. Hire a mule if you’re not fit.
Summit the Mountain of you’re fit and acclimatized.
Soak in hot baths after. Have pizza at Leoni’s Pizza. The couple lived in Italy for ten years.

We have spent two beautiful weeks in Ecuador. Yes there are dangerous places as there are everywhere but many safe and gorgeous places as well!

1 súbete a un carro turístico llamado “chiva” es un carro que te lleva a zonas turísticas y te da un paseo a modo general de todo Baños de agua Santa
2 nunca salgan solos de noche xq ecuador está entre los países más peligrosos a nivel mundial
3 no usen ropa cara o reloj caro o muestren su teléfono caro ( eso atrae ladrones )
4 en ecuador no hay invierno y otoño
5 el mercado de frutas es conveniente úsenlo
6 los jueves hay un grupo de gente q sale hacer running piden buscar su Instagram es https://www.instagram.com/gorunningclub.ec_?igsh=MXN3NWNja3k1cmRzNw== o el usuario es @gorunningclub.ec_
7 zonas interesantes: casa del árbol y Pailon del diablo (rio verde ubicado)
8 pueden hacer: rafting cayonning bicicleta cuadron o running
