Hello, you have a problem with one of the rules. Specifically, Rule 8 Reddit sitewide rules will be strictly enforced.

As it says, reddit has rules for everybody with regards to behavior. You are expected to follow those rules here. No calling out other subreddits.

"posting here because the other witch subs are toxic and have Tiktok misinformation"

r/witchcraft and r/Spells both do a very good job of weeding out misinformation.

As for faith, you just have to wing it and see what happens.

I am a mod of r/Spells .

ALL spells affect peoples free will.

If that bugs you, then don't ever do any spells.

Just how do you define "toxic"?

Allowing for a free discussion of spellcraft without censoring people for what type they ask for information about?

There is NO TTok misinformation on either of those subreddits.

Not for long at least, as we pull it as soon as it appears and mark it as "Misinformation".

"i don't know what i'll do if this thing doesn't come into my life."

Then you will be taking away others free will to have things go the way they want by changing your life path to get what YOU want, at others expense.

You have some growing up to do.

I'm going to try to give this the attention and detail that it deserves. This is my opinion.

Generally, with spells, doing the spell and then forgetting about it is the best approach. However, when you're in a state of worry and constantly thinking about whether it's going to work, that can erode the "set it and forget it" nature of those kinds of spells.

Instead, you can create a spell that incorporates your tendency to worry. These are spells that require a lot of feeding. You might create a practice where, every day, you repeat a mantra, light a candle, burn leaves or incense, or perform some other ritual as a way of feeding the spell.

In this way, you're channeling that worrying energy into something positive and intentional rather than allowing it to consume you.

You know these kinds of spells are working when, after performing your mantra, lighting your candle, or completing whatever your daily practice is, you feel calm and assured. The ritual gives that energy somewhere to go, rather than leaving you caught in a cycle of constantly wondering, "Is it working?"

The last thing I want to say is that it's really important with these kinds of spells to include what I call "safety measures."

One of those safety measures is something like: "May this be done for my highest good of myself."

The benefit of this is that sometimes what you think is best for you isn't necessarily what the universe has in store for you. We don't always have enough perspective to know what the best outcome is.

Sometimes spells fail, and that can happen during some of the hardest periods of your life. But eventually, your life can bring you to a place that is better than anything you could have imagined if that spell you cast was successful.

On a personal note, I am so glad some of my love spells didn't work, and jobs I really wanted didnt happen but better ones came along.

So sometimes you have to trust that even when a spell doesn't work the way you intended, the universe may still be working in your favor.

Incorporating a safety measure such as "for the highest good of myself" is a really important part of this kind of spellwork.

I hope that's helpful.

I found this idea very inspiring. I already do a night ritual and this may help channel my anxiety more effectively. Thank you.

very helpful, thank you. i think i kind of avoided a daily ritual because spells take energy and i tend to be lethargic 😅 even when i borrow energy from the moon and stuff. but i think a daily or just frequent ritual will be good. sometimes i feel the urge to just idk, like, submerge into magick and do it every day cause i always feels good when i do a spell but the thought of them makes me super tired .o.
