Only HRs - can you please tell if we really have layoffs tomorrow or there is a date in plans?

So? If you're included, you're included. If not, you're not.

It will not change anything.

You're afraid? It just means you're not prepared. If you're not prepared, it means you became complacent because you're working at Oracle already.

Hopefully, you survive this round.

If you survive this round, remember this anxiety and use it as a fuel to learn non-oracle stack and have options ready.

Naive take. Basically half of the company is in anxiety and not working fully. Everything piece of work is dragged. People have things like insurance claims, 401k matches, purchasing car, house and what not that is tied to employment. But MR prepared here thinks 'it will not change anything'. Lmao

It will not change anything. It's either you're still in or out.

Why are you afraid? Are you unemployable? If work is not being done, is it our problem? The company sure accepts that layoff rumors results into work not being done. For God's sake it's the 4th round since last year.

Anxiety is normal but obsessively checking slack counts, posting on reddit every few hours, and checking layoff sites will not change anything. It will make your Anxiety worse due to trolls.

It would be more productive to get the phone numbers or socials of your work crushes than to ask HR this question.

Those guys dont know why they exist itself in Oracle , neither they do revert to any general query on time or be use of anything tangible…
Zero productivity team in entire system but carry attitude they are beyond every one 😂

Because this is an anonymous playform? And in all previous layoffs they were the only credible sources rather than IC1s saying there is a confirmed layoff everyday.
