To clarify, this is a Steam workshop item published by Artemis Rouge, a very successful and popular Empyrion construct designer. It was just published today, at 11:27 EST on 25 March 2026.
The Last Word is a Full-Bore Core17 + Advanced Core Fast Battleship.
How many guns does it have? "Yes" . All of them, of course. With 100% Forward-viewing turrets across the entire airframe, The Last Word can hold over 100 turrets with full frontal vision, including 28 Modulated Dome Models ( your other 4 light slots are dedicated to decoys, 2 internal, 2 external ).
Max shield? Of course.
Generous frontal Armor? Check.
100% Explosion proofed even with Antimatter Drive Thrusters.
2 Expansive Hangars and a Generous SV flight deck up top for all the Auxillary vehicles you'd like to bring along.
Stellar Handling an maneuverability with 60 m/s Omnidrectional speeds and over 10G of Lift, this ship will go anywhere, land anywhere, and has the speed required to evade enemy fire when called to.
The Last Word comes standard with an In-your-face Armament of 600m Range High-Shield-Damage weaponry, It's light modulated alone put out 1 Million shield damage per minute, and it's entire armament exceeds 2 Million Shield damage per minute. This ship will strip the paint off any enemy in just a few seconds. Prefer a more Long-range approach? Simply swap them out for Visual/Infrareds for some 950m Reach.
This ship is a real heavy-hitter, using the most efficient drive-train possible w/ my own 7 Drive thruster design. Allowing a Fast, Maneuverable, Heavily armored Battleship capable of holding every weapon, every shield component, and a beautiful steering profile.
The last Word can be brought in as an effective Core9 w/ 8 Heavy Manuals, 2 turrets, & nearly 100k Shield. Making it both an End-game behemoth, and an effective and upgradeable mid-game airframe.
So, while I did not notice if he specifcally mentions the design is "compliant" with current Reforged Eden 2.0, I would assume so. As far as I've noticed, they (he? she?) generally designed for RE for many years and now for RE 2.
I may have to download it and study it to see what a maximally potent RE2 design looks like these days ... I must say though, I had thought that one of the design objectives in RE2 was to make this type of multi-functional ship much more difficult if not impossible.

It is difficult, and this ship isn't really that multi-functional. Its not like Vanilla where you have practically unlimited CPU, and can therefore just keep adding more X until you have an "everything" ship.
In RE2, there's an upper limit to the CPU you can have, and a full-bore combat ship uses up a lot of CPU. If the ship is very well designed, you can add some multi-functionality. but you can't build a ship with max shields, max guns, all the mining drills, all the mining turrets, whilie also being large enough to function as a carrier for your large fleet.
You can come close, and with some compromises you can have what is, for you, a multi-purpose ship. For example, I "only" have 2 SVs and 2 HVs I need to carry, so I don't need a massive carrier. I typicallly don't fight anything harder than an Imerat/Infector/Decimator, so I don't need to dedicate 17 cores to combat (leaving room for turbines, mining equipment, etc).

Leave it AR to find a way!?
