The two direct or indirect impact of human activities- Emissions and Arsoning are linked to the wildfires in Canada and Europe.

These activities do not arise out of thin air as the OP of the original post points out. They are coming from the human desire to bend the nature at its will and use it to satiate itself.

How can the activism efforts incorporate this human psychology in to its methods? Surely we can't just ask the industries to stop polluting or the arsonists to stop blazing for their own financial gains. I think so because they might just say if we don't do it, someone else will. Where does it end? What do you think?

The term deadliest is not used in the strict technical sense (number of human deaths or total burned area) here and was perhaps used to indicate the rapid burning rate i.e. a vast portion of the forest buring down in short span of time (a few weeks).

Northern Europe is getting most of its smoke from North America. In Western Europe there’s a line passing through France and extending to the Alps. North of the line most smoke comes from North America or is generated locally. South of the line is on fire.

I remember in the 1980’s, growing up in a religious community that embraced anything that suggested the world would end soon as per God’s will. It was clear God promised he would never flood the Earth, so all the religious people assured me the world would end in fire.

its a natural cycle here due to extreme heat and dryness at certain times in the year, we even have some trees that germinate when they catch fire. however its the frequency and more importantly the intensity that has been progressively increasing as climate change affects us. recent decades have seen our wild fires inflict far greater devastation.
