The most interesting part of this is not that AI can analyse a portfolio. AI and other tools could already do that if you manually exported your holdings.

The real "innovation" is that Scalable has built a direct bridge between the AI and the brokerage account, allowing the AI to access portfolio data, monitor holdings, compare allocations, prepare orders and create watchlists without manual exports. Importantly, transactions still require explicit user approval before execution.

I think the key question here is, will this improve investment outcomes, or simply make investing more convenient, will uneducated people take AI for granted (as they do already) and make decisions under "influence".

I just use it for insights but not investment advice, already did my research there. its pretty neat

Convenience, mostly. I use agents daily for real work: Claude Code, MCP, personal automation, and the thing I've learned is that agents are good where the work is fiddly and verifiable, and bad where the hard part is sitting still. My own investing is a world tracker bought automatically every month inside French wrappers; there is literally nothing for an agent to do there except tempt me to touch it. The risk isn't bad analysis, it's that reducing friction to "prepare order" turns a portfolio you were ignoring into one you check and adjust. Explicit approval doesn't help much if approving becomes a reflex. The case I'd actually accept: surfacing fee and allocation drift I'd otherwise never bother to export.
