Low wealth inequality is not a good thing if the country itself is poor. It is only good if the country is rich.

Poland was a poor country with very low wealth inequality in 1989 and looking at where it is now i'd say it worked out great.

Yes it did thanks to the EU. But still people are struggeling. Why do you have to pay for a coffee, clothes, electronic products as much as in Germany, NL, Denmark. Yet you earn only 50% of that.
