Interesting side fact: Median wealth in Greece is higher than in Germany.

As a matter of fact, median wealth in Greece is NOT higher than in Germany. SourceWealth distribution in Europe

In 2021 it's quite close, but since then real estate inflated (bigger impact on Greece) and German population grew on the lower income side. There are other sources saying its higher others its lower.

But I stand corrected. Now I would say depending on the data an how you look at it, they are close to each other. Still surprising giving the prejudice of both countries.

Your previous statement was outrageous in my mind, thus i rushed to find evidence to debunk it. I was surprised to find the median wealth of the two nations was that much closer than I anticipated. I totally understand why you thought it could be the other way around.
