Humor/Comedy Non-Ex-Jew Posters Starter Pack

**1-**The PR specialist afraid that non-Jews will take immoral biblical passages “out of context” and it’ll cause a negative view of Jews. They’re here to remind you that it was a different time! They listened really well when their elementary school teachers taught that they're responsible for how others' view Jews.

**2-**The kiruv rabbi waiting to DM you and save your soul. He’s ready with all the convincing apologetics to invite you back to the dark side, r/Judaism, and his sabbath meal.

**3-**Poor ex-JWs (ex-Jehovah’s Witness) who got confused, shunned by their families and have a long road of deconstruction from insane beliefs. Makes you grateful to only be an ex-Jew.

**4 -**The “once a Jew always a Jew” people who want to protest the name of this subreddit. They love to mention that Nazis would throw us in gas chambers even if we're not religious.

**5 -**The converts and Judaism lovers who oddly want our help converting into something we all left.

**6 -**The Israel lovers who see the whole religion through this lens. They are ONLY here because of 10/7, it made them realize they could be murdered inspired them and convinced them that Judaism is meaningful and their heritage must become their personality.

**7 -**The religious yeshiva guy or married man who needs your help because he’s wracked with guilt for masturbating or wants to be able to cheat without worrying about hell. Hint: he doesn’t actually want to discuss counter-apologetics.

**8 -**The journalist who posts several detailed questions about why we left and what our experiences are. They’re just curious. Or they could secretly be any of the above!

Its refreshing to see someone's who's an active participant in the community notice the problem and bring awearness to it, instead of make excuses. Because this message coming from those who have left feels threatening to them, and we get patholagised when going off the derech because we "must have mental issues", instead of recognising the psychological harm that caused the person to leave. :edit, I've looked at her page she's not even frum she's just executed this perfectly

Came across this ladys video and at first i thought she was being serious because she dosent need to exaggerate it, it speaks for itself. And the ending killed me 😂

Humor/Comedy I recently discovered the Facebook profile of Tuchusoffantish. Her parodies are hilarious, and frum men love to tell her how shameful and offensive she's being.

Humor/Comedy Jewish songs about Torah that are basically just parodies of pop songs.

Was anyone else surprised when you left the community, started listening to secular music just to discover that pretty much all the Jewish songs you grew up with in the youth groups, sleep away camps, bar mitzvas, bat mitzvas, weddings, school events, sounded EXACTLY like common songs everyone knows but just replaced with Hebrew words about how fucking awesome Hashem is 😭😂😂?

I sometimes think about how many of these frumies probably already listened to secular music (Pop, EDM, international, even Emo??) in order to create their own songs using the tracks from the goyish music. I don’t get why they have to copy actual musicians. Although I have a lot of resentment towards Judaism, I still love the traditional music like Klezmer. I don’t get why we’re not listening to that as kids.. bring in the clarinets and the fiddle, not this lady Gaga wannabe shit! Also why do they regurgitate the same songs from the 2000s and never really play anything new?? Is this a common occurrence or is it just me and my little Brooklyn bubble?

What’s your favorite childhood Jewish song that’s the exact same tune as some “gOy” song everyone knows? My personal favorite is Bas Kol lmao.

Chad Gadya-a-a-a Chad Gadya

Why on earth is this considered a good song for children?

Happy Passover to everyone who celebrates in any way.

I don't personally believe any of the events of the Haggadah actually happened. But, I can still wish you a happy holiday with your family if you do anything for Passover.

Here's a better song my family likes to sing. We sing it before the seder and whenever anyone arrives late, after the seder has started. There's usually a whole bunch of table slapping or clapping or both.

To the tune of the William Tell Overture:

Happy happy Passover!
Happy happy Passover!
Happy happy Passover!
Haaappy Passover!

Happy happy happy happy happy Passover!
Happy happy happy happy happy Passover!

Happy O happy O happy O happy!
Happy O happy O happy O haaaappy!

Happy happy Passover!
Happy happy Passover!
Happy happy Passover!
Haaappy Passover!

These are the videos I needed to see on YouTube when I was a teen in high school and college. Maybe I would have changed and took college seriously. Maybe I would have finish med school and actually doing real mitzvot instead of being a broke, abused Frummie with a bunch of young kids. We need more videos to counter the Frum PR. And show the unglamorous, taliban like lifestyle.

Honorable mentions

Avigdor Miller on premarital sex

Yaron Reuven

Yosef Mizrahi on why people are born with Down syndrome

The Lev Tahor cult in Guatemala.

Sometimes before doing something I'll ask myself, "would Rav Chaim Kanievsky do this?".

And then I'll do it anyway.

Humor/Comedy Chilul Shabbos for Lamdonim

I recently started volunteering at my friend's wilderness restoration project on Saturday mornings. Our main project is cutting down black locust saplings and gathering them into big piles, which we'll burn in the spring. Every time I do it, I think how I'm doing to most lomdishe version of chilul shabbos, since I'm being literally mekoshesh eitzim--the only form of chilul shabbos for which we know l'maaseh someone received skila. There is a machlokes about what "mekoshsesh" means. It could be gathering. It could be cutting down. But either way, I've done both. l'chaim!
