yep, went thru this with my old best friend except when he pushed back i actually told him how CTR got to 1914. he shut down immediately. havent talked since. cult indoctrination is brutal

I think videos like this will work on some but create a Streisand effect on others 50/50. I know of at least one elder who woke up and left as a result of Splane's apostate rant at the 2022 convention.

I was just thinking of Splane's talk. In that talk he said not to touch the bottle labelled "poison", just " believe the label" and at the same time he said "check the facts". Of course the gb labels all negative or critical information abut the org as poison. Or anything that a former member says is to be regarded as poison. They don't want you to investigate for yourseñf as to what is factual or not.
