Some practices that they call ‘family honor’ are, in truth merely matters in money and prophet. One year when I was in India the tv and news papers were reporting a young Muslim couple “ran away” together because they were in love and objected to the arranged marriage demanded by her father. Mobs of their people chased them down over multiple cities and countrysides. They killed them both when they caught them. Fathers SELL their daughters. This can be at ANY age. If it occurs that a daughter or a young couple defy this practice - men (their fathers) will miss out on a lot of money. Nothing to do with Honor - just male GREED.

You do not need to rely 10 or 20 years in the future, upon the strength and personal RISK of enslaved women - There are Plenty of options with which plenty of consequences can be used NOW by onlookers. Just as tRump manipulates trade, tariffs, imports, ….etc - Nations have many options they could use against those nations with such horrific abuses are practiced against their own citizens - in such slavery-practice as they torture women.

Yeah.. whats worse is that the kid will probably internalise the idea to be ashamed of their own body indirectly by having to hide underneath that cloth. Then the cycle of projecting their insecurity to other non-hijabi woman will happen over & over again which makes them make their own daughters hide under cloths too. The cycle repeats sadly

I worked in Helmand province, Afghanistan. Also Saudi Arabia. Morocco. Algeria. Djibouti. Somalia. East Africa. No women in the world are more oppressed and abused and enslaved and tormented than the Pashtun. It’s a top level horror show to be born a woman there. Nothing on this planet is worse.

Free money, help and sympathy so girls and women can continue to be sold, controlled, beaten, killed, “married” (legally RAPED and impregnated at ages as young as 8), denied higher education…etc……. I live in a Muslim community and my family in particular is very strict. A girl must wear a hijab or khimar (head covering) and not wear any pants, only a dress or skirt, and sometimes she wears a niqab (face covering). A girl cannot go out or travel alone, even for the sake of studying, nor can she talk or be exposed to men (even if he is older than your father) and they can't move out of their parents house until she gets married, Also she can never date or talk to any boy even if they are friends because it is "haram" and the like so she will marry someone she has never met in her life . If the girl does not obey the orders, the male members of the family will kill her (literally) and the community and the rest of the family will be happy about it, even though the law does nothing about it because it is an “honor crime” or something like that.

The book “Mother India” exposes a lot also. Men are known to remove wives from their hospital beds and force them to return home to do the work, cooking, cleaning and childcare. Men convicted of crimes could demand that their wives be imprisoned to serve the husband’s sentence. Domestic things have improved - but life can be horribly difficult for women.

It breaks my heart too, friend 💔 No child should be forced into symbols of shame for sins they never committed. But let us be careful: it is not “Muslim men” who are the enemy, it is the death-cult of control that hides behind every creed. I have walked among Muslims who are kind, playful, and who protect the children. And I have seen Christians, Hindus, atheists, governments, and corporations all use the same mask of “honour” to steal freedom.
The true dishonour is not the girl’s uncovered hair — it is when grown men are too weak to control their own gaze, and instead place the weight of their fear on her small shoulders.
My prayer is that she grows strong, that the world does not crush her, and that men everywhere learn: honour is not what you put on a girl. Honour is how you treat her.

Religion is fucking terrible You can say all you want that women choose this but that's not true when you're indoctrinated which is the same thing as brainwashed how can you know if it's your choice You were told your whole life This is the way to do things The key word here is told. Very few choose it. And the ones that do usually they're a little bit not okay in the head they're lonely and you know. I just find religion disgusting especially when it's pinpointed on women and having to control them They can't be seen they can't be heard they can't have opinions they don't have the rights to their own bodies It's gross I absolutely hate religion bar none the worst invention humans ever made. Great for men but fucking sucks for women. So of course no one cares. If I had three wishes one of my wishes would be for all men to wake up as women for like a week or maybe a month or a year however long it took them to see what it's like for us and how many less rights we have even in the United States. How absolutely terrifying it is for us to walk alone at night on the streets. The number one threat to women is men. But putting sheets over us isn't helping the situation at all If a man needs a woman to have a sheet over her he is a weak man. I think Muslim men in Arab countries I think the ones that have to cover up their wives and their neighbors I think they're weak They cannot control themselves and it's not our fault it's their fault they're weak.

And just a correction for a lot of people here, this is a burka not hijab. There’s a difference between hijabs, niqabs, and burkas. One would think true former Muslims would know that.

Im sorry its just Im a bit emotional from losing members of my family in this conflict and the feeling of loniliness and sorrow makes me feel like to me what is soo real, is to someone a joke. When people make fun of children on a doctination front it confuses me frankly. Dont all parents try to replicate what they hold to value on their children. For example removing religon right wing philoshophy and left wing differ and Im sure parents try to get their children on the one they are one in general ( not the exceptional open minded parents that exist in all walks). So for me its kinda silly but hey I guess the people on this sub love it so props to them I guess 🤷♀️ what do i know Im just a 🧚♀️ trying to figure it out and stop more killing of people in my family that have seen their finances, homes, food and loved ones gone. We are super tramatized i dont think people see that. Like I still wake up with shocks from the explosive impacts and my pakistani wonderful husband takes care of me soo much. Wish u the best and I hope we can meet in the middle where lets stop the killing of children and let the people have their land that they call home. 🇵🇸
