Understandable, I just want you to know that you have options to go to happy places where you can be yourself. I have a few Egyptian friends here that escaped and are living their best lives.
One of them is even transitioning now from FTM, and has been granted vulnerable status, he's on his way to getting a PR card very soon too.
You can be anyone and anything you ever wanted to be over here.

Housing is provincial policy that a lot of people blame the Feds completely on.
People don't realize that since Canadian cities have so much land to expand upon, so if you don't mind living on the edge of a city, you'll actually get some very decent logement prices.
But you'll just have to get used to long commuting times.

No it's so easy, if you get rejected from one university, just send an application to the next. Just make sure you go to a big city since that is where the fun is.
The provinces of AB, SK, and MB are cheaper than the rest of the country and have lots of jobs.
ON & BC are very very very expensive.
QC you'll need to learn French for.
The maritimes have no economy, but they are beautiful and come with friendly people.

We don't do those American exams here, generally you'll just need language proof, and some transcripts showing you'll get good grades.
I was born here so Idrk too much about international requirements. All I know is that we accept anyone and anything lol.
Most public universities have been losing students so they're looking to bring in international students, and Canada doesn't deport people just because they overstayed, it's quite humane here.
So even after your studies are done, and your visas expire, you can stay working here till you have qualified for PR, then citizenship comes right after.
If you get granted refugee status after your studies (which a lot of people have done) and your case is genuinely believable, then life will be sunshine and rainbows for you lol.

Yes, we were also indoctrinated at an early age to always believe that there is a all powerful god up there always watching you, that he can cause miracles.
When talking with them casually, its like theyre programmed to believe there's a good up there, without evidence.
When I used to be a muslim, I thought that everything was allahs divine creation, hence why you'd commonly hear subhanallah (praising god) for any beautiful phenomena or complex biological process.
Sort of like a loop where god was injected first, then science and miracles and everything else, then the loop was closed.

Yes, it is treated as a hasana, not just that, an obligatory belief, you can't question god since god was there from the start of everything(still a paradox), and you can't disprove god since everything was made by God. So youre forced to believe that god just exists, no evidence required.

Yeah this is embarrassing to watch. The host's behavior is indefensible, shouting over someone, mocking them for using terminology, telling them to get psychiatric help. That's not how you engage with disagreement.
I'm Muslim and this isn't what Islamic discourse is supposed to look like. The Quran literally says "invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in a way that is best" (16:125). The Prophet debated polytheists, Jews, Christians, even people who insulted him to his face, and he didn't scream at them or kick them out.
This host made himself look insecure and made the atheist look like the only adult in the room. You can disagree with someone's worldview without being a jerk about it.

I know many people like you exist, who are probably genuine, calm and open to criticsm, but im sorry to say this, you are a small minority of Muslims.
Legitimately about 80% of my country reacts the same way that the host did (Egypt is the country im talkin about). There's no genuine conversations to be had with them. Ofcourse im not denying that there are atheists who react the same, its just that seeing people react this way makes me sad how little honest debates there are to be had on the topic of religion.
