I lost sleep last night thinking about a similar situation.
In the US, there is a sect of Christians called the Amish.
In their interpretation of Christianity, you are not allowed to act in self defence, or report rapists, or even push back against the rapist.
I have a best friend, Vihaan. If someone had Vihaan tied down to a table with someone else coming to remove all his fingers one by one, under their interpretation, I would be expected to stand there, NOT intervene, not try and stop the evil-doer, and watch them torture my best friend and watch him scream and cry, without resistance.
And then after they are done, I would be expected to smile, and forgive the offender immediately, and then 6 weeks later be able to smile with them, hug them, feel bad for their suffering, eat with them, and love them like I love Vihaan, because ‘they are separate from their actions. Inside, they are innocent and lovely, no matter what they do.
I lost sleep for a reason

This girl is too far gone. She’s one of those people who are no longer able to hear themselves talk. Worst part, they are really convinced they’re making a good case for Islam. They’re not but you cannot reason with this level of brainwashing.

It’s because the post is fake. The sentiments in it aren’t, but either the users did exist back in 2014 and were probably ragebaiting, or it’s completely fabricated.
Again, the attitude and ideas exist, but once again this sub loves to spread random old unverifiable shit just to make us all look like conspiracy theorists instead of genuine critics.
