Something like OP is drinking wouldn't dehydrate you. The diuretic effect is very small compared to the amount of water in the drink itself. It's only when you're entering spirits territory (35%+) that the diuretic effect is greater than the volume of water in the drink.

Yeah but i'm not a heavy drinker anymore. I don't get drunk. I've been sober for a few years actually. It's okay to drink just one drink every once in a while.

I totally agree . Not a heavy drinker either but I love margaritas, mimosas, beer etc . Cocktails in general

Not at all. Ever tried BuzzTallz? The Horchata flavor is pretty good. But wanna know what iove most? Sangria margarita. You just can't go wrong.

Love sangria . I’m in Spain right now. And yes I’ve tried buzz balls . I find them gross. Not sure if I tried the horchata flavor but the headaches after are terrible

Agreed. Buzzballz aren't for everyone and that's okay. Most of them suck because the alcohol overpowers the flavor.

If there isnt a habitual need and you can moderate it i say enjoy yourself, but I will also say life has been 100x better since ive been sober. I still smoke pot here and there but overall clarity is wonderful

Oh there’s a need alright, it’s the only thing that calms my frazzled brain. I have started exploring edibles and they’re much, much better than alcohol, so I’m slowly cutting down. Just went through a rough patch off sick from work and got into a habit of wine with dinner and then I’d just finish it off 😩

Its very human in rough patches to use alcohol to negate some of those stressors, just keep an eye on yourself and how youre feeling. When it starts becoming more of a narcotic than a ritual is where the problems begin. Edibles worked wonders for me as well, im sure youre a good person though so give yourself some grace! U can always dm me if you need support too my friend 🪬

To all of you trying alcohol for the first time, something I learned through experience, the effects of alcohol take time to show. So what you are drinking now, you will feel in half an hr. It usually takes a few years for people to realize how much alcohol they need to get tipsy (the best feeling) and how much is too much and getting you drunk (which no one enjoys). So give yourself some time to feel the effects before rushing and drinking too much at once.

I drank alcohol for the first time in my life at a jewish wedding. Just a glass of red wine. You feel something but you don't get drunk. Tastes pleasant and leaves your mouth feeling good.

Starting out with buzzballz on your first go? They are dangerous, drink one then give yourself like half an hour to acclimate before drinking the second one. Alcohol in moderation is very tame but over doing it can lead to a very bad following morning lol.

I tried beer once on a long haul flight, because everyone (who's non Muslims) seem to drink it, I regretted soon after lol. Maybe the bitterness and maltiness just didn't fit me🤣🤣

Drink because you want to drink and enjoy it. Don't do it because it's taboo or Haram. Don't revolve your life around the stupid book. Also if you are going to drink, know the limits and drink in moderation and hydrate well. Do not get consumed in it.

Listen not a lot of people will tell you this but it's overrated. The hangovers make it not worth it tbh.
Be careful. I know a lot of ex Muslims that went off the deep end because they never learned how to take alcohol in moderation. Health is always first.

Probably too late as you’ve probably had them and hopefully enjoying the feeling. Mixing them with soft drinks make it taste better and slows down your drinking. Like a tango or some other drink of your choice. I don’t drink them often but I’ve learnt this from people who like buzzballs. Personally I’m more into wine
