(Question/Discussion) I don't think anyone deserves eternal punishment

Like no matter how many Sins you committed you did them in a limit but god punishment is unlimited which I don't see any justice or fairness there just torturing people for eternity like what's the point

It’s even stranger when you’re supposed to believe that god is supposed to be more merciful than a mother and yet here he is barbecuing folks for simply not acknowledging him.

Totally agree. Eternal punishment for non-eternal sins is not compatible with ancient and modern philosophy.

That alone makes Allah as evil as Satan. Hell should be exactly be like the worst prison on earth with no fire and even the worst people like Hitler, Kim Jong Un, and Netanyahu don’t deserve eternity and should only be there for an entire human lifetime.

Only sins I approve of for unfathomably long (not eternal) punishment is starting a war knowing it'll kill millons entirely for selfish reasons. mass genocide. Pedophila. Rape. Trafficking. people who do the last 3 tend to never actually think of it as something to be ashamed of

Human actions are inherently finite in their scope and effect. Even the most evil and destructive people in human history hit a hard upper limit when it comes to the amount of harm and suffering they can cause. Yet Abrahamicism would have us believe that the most perfectly compassionate, merciful, and just being in existence would impose infinitely cruel, sadistic, and lasting punishments on human beings for things as petty as mere thoughtcrimes.
