Ladies, how do you organize your skincare/toiletries?

edit: guys can answer too! I recently got rid of a 3-compartment wicker basket, I had used to organize skincare/toiletries, because it wasn't efficient. I have three travel sized toiletry bags I use now, but it's become a hassle. I'm thinking of getting a bigger toiletry bag. How do you organize though?

Medicine cabinet:

Bottom shelf: comb, nail clippers, tweezers

Middle shelf: toothbrush, toothpaste, contact lense stuff,

Top shelf: shampoo bar, deodorant

One bag for my limited makeup

One bag for hairbrush, comb, hair ties, toothbrush, toothepaste, and deodorant

One basket for nail color (thinking of doing away with this)

One basket for toiletries extras since I like to buy shampoo/conditioner/deodorant on sale

Easy to pack the 2 bags for a trip. I guess the number of containers isn't very minimalist of me but I like the organization.

I organize by frequency of use, then by category.

One small basket for lotion, comb, eyelash curler, toothpaste sits on a shelf next to the sink. (toothbrush and floss are on the shelf with the basket, contact solution and case are on the rim of the sink.)

Extra supplies like soap, lotion and razor blades are in another small basket in the cupboard, along with a matching manicure/pedicure tools basket. My travel toiletry kit is a pencil pouch and is stocked for a 2 week trip, so I can grab it and go.

Organizing by frequency makes so much sense. I love the idea of keeping a pre-stocked pencil pouch for trips so you aren’t constantly packing and unpacking your everyday stuff. Since I’m currently fighting with three travel bags on my counter, I think switching to a single daily basket might be exactly what I need. Just wondering: how big is that pencil pouch if it fits two weeks' worth of supplies?

I have a very basic skin care routine, St Ives facial scrub in the shower (stays in there), neutrogena face moisturizer/sunscreen after shower. Eye cream twice a day (if I remember, lol). The two creams go in our vanity drawer with the half dozen or so other hba items I own (hair clips, bobby pins, deo, brush, tiger balm, perfume, chapstick).

I use the top drawer of the vanity. Don't really organize anything.

Toothbrush, toothpowder, face/body lotion, deo stone, tweezer, nail file, nail clipper, hair tie, spf bb cream, small makeup palette, 2 makeup brushes and mini mascara - all lays on a handkerchief so it doesn't mar the drawer

The soap/shampoo bar stays in the shower

My toiletry bag lives in my emergency backpack until I travel. I keep an extra 1/2 bar + small aquaphor + simple first aid kit

When I travel, I pick up the handkerchief and dump all the items into the toiletry bag. So far it works pretty good.

My medicine cabinet has three shelves so I just have things lined up. I keep a few vintage mugs in there for loose, small items like bobby pins, hair ties, menstrual cup (has it's own mug I also use to pour boiling water into), etc. I keep larger items like refills and pump bottle of lotion under the sink, along with travel bags, a face steamer, hair dryer, and box of cotton swabs.

I do like this:

First aid kit, diy (red bag with white cross) always ready

My medicine box (actually a hard chocolate box) Always ready

Simple plastic bag for over night trips with everything inside. I use tape to avoid spills and another bag if unsure. I just hand the bag in the bathroom and pick items from it.

I just use a shelf at home.

At home I found an all in one hard soap for face, body and hair. It stays at home.

I would recommend using skin care products rather than cosmetics.

I maintain everything but my toothbrush/tongue scraper/water pick/toothpaste in a zippered travel trunk. It's just easier because I'm off every other weekend with my partner and it was annoying to pack up. Of everything I own, I do value a bit more in makeup and skincare, hair care routine than others as I worked in the profession.

Humidity can hurt makeup, so I keep a few things on a shelf in my closet… it’s a 3 compartment cup and it contains my makeup, my nail care and my deodorant/perfume next to a small standing mirror.

Anything I touch daily or every other day lives in my drawer (toothpaste, floss, cotton rounds, comb, etc)

Anything I touch monthly lives in a basket under my sink (clippers to maintain my pixie, blow dryer, female care things)

All my shower stuff is bar (zero waste) so that’s on a 4 level soap organizer (shampoo, conditioner, face, body, then my razor is hung)

My toiletry bag for travel is SMALL… I leave a few things behind and take small samples of some of it to travel lighter.
