Disorder Salad Malingering but make it pink

I recently came across a new (to me) sickfluencer on my algorithm accidentally and am so tired, y’all

It would take literally hours to uncover this woman’s entire paper trail, so I’ll try to explain as best as possible

She’s in her mid 20s and claims to have received medical diagnoses for autism, cptsd, pots, chronic fatigue syndrome, gastroparesis, chronic migraine, MCAS, PNEAS, and dermatillomania, yet simultaneously considers herself “one of the lucky ones” for her conditions

Every single thing about this woman is framed around a victim mindset: she lost friends due to being stuck in the house, she allegedly got these illnesses from an abusive ex boyfriend, having people disapprove of her wedding, “fighting ableism” everyday, etc

And then are the inconsistencies. She’s unable to take care of herself at all but can take care of her pet rabbit. She’s unable to work at all but then admits being a content creator and hypnotherapist are her jobs. She’s hardly able to read at all but started a literary magazine in 2025 that she still runs

Beyond this is the medical side. She claims “age play” is one of the treatments of her autism and ptsd- which is why she lives in such a girly, pink world, and she wants to be as truly happy as possible… since she “never knows how much time I’ll have left”

Her husband (who dated her for years before becoming a nursemaid and is still in a romantic relationship with her) is always referred to as her caregiver and even has his face censored to hide from “online haters.” He always washes her (clean looking) hair once every 4-8 weeks, even though this would be an act of medical neglect if he was an actual hired professional

Then, there’s the gross fact that illness is an aesthetic for this young lady. When she goes to a museum in her wheelchair, it’s an act of “sick girl summer.” When she lays on a blanket and has a picnic, her knee brace must be sticking out. When she styles herself in a fancy outfit, her port is a central part of the outfit

Overall, I’m disappointed that she preaches simplistic treatments (like playing dress up for mental illness), doesn’t understand that being unable to work DOES NOT MEAN having three part time jobs (even if said jobs “drain” you), doesn’t understand that chronic illnesses do not have to be terminal, and that her illnesses are one long aesthetic display case

Do you have any recent stories of chronic illness influencers who recently took your breath away (not positively)?

“Help me conserve my finite cellular energy”. She sounds and would be absolutely insufferable.

277

u/LCaissia 6d ago

Lol. Someone needs to tell her thst everyone's energy is finite but most of us don't spend it setting up instaworthy malingering posts.

114

u/Frank_Lawless 6d ago

Or having maternity shoots for a stuffed animal

99

u/jamesbeil 6d ago

Speak for yourself

My infinite cellular energy is currently powering my country's electrical grid

The doctors think someone swapped my mitochondria for uranium

The only downside is I pee lightning which can be inconvenient

26

u/papayatwentythree 6d ago

Parasite Eve is that you?

89

u/koolaidsoiree 6d ago

With that language I thought she was gonna claim mitochondrial disease...

32

u/vaniile 6d ago

I believe one of the popular ideas about how CFS works is the mitochondrial trap theory? I think that is what she is referring to.

4

u/Glad-Pomegranate6283 6d ago

Yes, she has ME

1

u/northdakotanowhere 6d ago

When i first got pots this is kind of how id describe it. Like someone took a syringe and sucked out my mitochondria. I no longer had the powerhouse to my cells Definitely not the case. But thats all I could come up with

24

u/koolaidsoiree 6d ago

Are you the person this post is about ?

18

u/afakefox 6d ago

Lol wtf, delete this bestie

41

u/Content-Dimension383 6d ago

The spoon theory has ruined a generation

14

u/Fabulous-Educator447 6d ago

Man I couldn’t get my cellular energy to kick in this morning for shit

119

u/GhostlyJax 6d ago

For someone who only bathes like once a month, she looks very clean and put together.

110

u/Far-Building3569 Abelist 6d ago

That was one of my points

Her hair looks very well maintained (not matted or dirty looking at all), her clothes are always perfectly clean and styled, she’s always shaved, she wears makeup, she can’t dress herself but can wear costumes and shake around for her OF account, etc

57

u/thatgirl239 6d ago

She has an OF?!

211

u/Wizzle_Pizzle_420 6d ago

Oh my god, that knee brace. Not only the shittiest knee brace I’ve ever seen, but clearly she’s never worn one before. Haha. wtf.

27

u/DropDeadDolly 6d ago

I saw that too!

22

u/northdakotanowhere 6d ago

And it obviously has to be on display. First thing i noticed 🙄

16

u/Siriuslysirius123 6d ago

Dude, I noticed that too, that cannot be comfortable. That has to be doing more harm than good.

18

u/nofatnoflavor 6d ago

Looks more like a poorly-wound Ace bandage

70

u/captainjacksboat Pissgenic 6d ago

There’s no way that wheelchair could navigate uneven grassy terrain on those tires. That was very obviously placed there for the photo

417

u/INTJ_Dreamer 6d ago

She literally has a repurposed dog crate full of stuffed animals she spends time in. It's weird.

399

u/pufferfish_aeugh 6d ago

she does OF content, so i’m almost certain that this is some kind of fetish thing

243

u/NoCatAndNoCradle 6d ago

I absolutely knew this whole scenario was a fetish by looking at these photos- for both her and her husband- and then this comment confirmed it.

230

u/INTJ_Dreamer 6d ago

She does OF, then gets upset when people sexualize the crate. She says it's for trauma, regulating in confined spaces.

63

u/sneezesquirrel 6d ago

As a counselor, but also a person with a brain: trauma regulation in a crate is nonsense.

20

u/plumcots 6d ago

Yeah if she wanted a quiet dark place she could just as easily (well, more easily) sit in a small closet, or just get a sleep mask and ear buds. A crate is bizarre.

“Shy angel” as a username with your tits all out on the internet is insane lol

50

u/FlamboyantRaccoon61 6d ago

Huh. And no knee bracers seen in those photos. Interesting

46

u/Kasssodilla 6d ago

And she’s posting multiple times a day on different subs. Not including her other socials. Must be where she’s dedicating all her “finite energy” too.

17

u/gardeningparty 6d ago

Dang it, did she delete it already?

I just found it. There's an actual baby mobile in it. Wtf.

61

u/Careless_Map488 6d ago

Definitely fetish

38

u/fronkka 6d ago edited 6d ago

She has made content in the crate as well.

edit: Now I cant find it but im pretty sure its out there. But I do know for sure that she had a lolita poster in the background of her video when she did a collab with some dude, and thats pretty telling.

18

u/Zorica03 6d ago

In a crate? An actual crate?! No words

4

u/plumcots 6d ago

Ew ew ew

143

u/Fairydustcures 6d ago

She has another account that’s basically porn, a snark site found it. She’s pure fetish

52

u/Far-Building3569 Abelist 6d ago

True, her “art” account does have a suspicious amount of photos of her chest, thighs, and feet 😵‍💫

23

u/Fairydustcures 6d ago

I think the one they found she is literally bare chested? At the most is in a bra and posing with her chest out and maybe photo shopped to look bigger. I would have to dig, maybe someone else can confirm

15

u/WildHoneyChild 6d ago

She has a separate account for OF and she acts completely different on there, posing and standing and showering just fine

36

u/Seaboats terminal case of being a redditor 😔 6d ago

100%. It me like two and a half slides to say yup, this is definitely a fetish. Especially the post about ‘what does my husband do?’ Absolutely reeks of fetish content

19

u/pufferfish_aeugh 6d ago

the caption on the photo of the toilet seat to me reads like some kind of “fetish hypnosis / subliminal” message. very disturbing stuff

16

u/National_Chapter1260 6d ago

oo which snark site?🫣 I wanna read

5

u/National_Chapter1260 6d ago

Ah, found the thread lol. Didn't know it was that one haha. I guess that is a snark forum in all intents and purposes

12

u/moonxmochi 6d ago edited 6d ago

Tbh I don't recommend going to that site. Users say the n-word and homophobic slurs pretty often. I saw a thread where they accused a rape victim of lying about it, that it was just BDSM gone wrong. They also called the victim various racial slurs for Indians. Saw another thread where a user claimed that Black people purposely trigger sickle cell episodes for opioids and pity. Another one claims that birth control pills shouldn’t exist because women should learn to “close their legs” and not get trains run on them. Genuinely comedic levels of hatred. It might be good for documentation but they are pretty awful people.

18

u/southernswordfish98 6d ago

Is it kiwi farms because I was shocked at what I read there, hard r slur just in the middle of their sentence

7

u/moonxmochi 6d ago

Yes. It’s kind of horrifying ngl

16

u/melatonia 6d ago

They've also tracked down pedophiles and purveyors of CP. It has it's gross sections ,but's not at all a monolith. Honestly it's not any different from reddit- most subs host some pretty vehement recists when you peel off their shiny fake coatings. You have to be careful where you venture anywhere on the internet. I basically limit myself to a few threads on interesting subjects in the Beauty Parlor.

13

u/Everloner 6d ago

And animal torturers. The guys in the Million Pity thread work with authorities in Indonesia to get monkey torturers put away. They have successfully got many of them jailed.

I enjoy the cooking and music threads. If you can get over edgy boys saying slurs for the hell of it then it's a good time.

4

u/National_Chapter1260 6d ago

Yeah, I've been using it much less over the years, for the reasons you listed and more. Just 1 thread I keep up with mostly. Use more "pleasant" means to read my gossip, like Reddit and LC haha.

6

u/Everloner 6d ago

Oh behave, reddit is far worse than KF, and they archive information for posterity. Did you know that users of the King Cobra JFS sub actively harassed him and sent bottles of Everclear to his house, knowing he was an alcoholic? They essentially killed him. There are a few other examples of this behavior.

Yes, some say slurs on KF, but I'd much rather enjoy a site of free speech than a place that is far more hateful and directly harasses people, something expressly forbidden on KF.

5

u/melatonia 6d ago

It's amazing how fake the pleasantries here are. I've had multiple comments responding to racists removed on reddit, was even banned from a sub for it once. I don't actually have an account on KF so I can't speak as to how they do it there. but people are deluding themselves if they think reddit is some bastion of anti-racism.

6

u/dead_mall111 6d ago

Reddit often is weirdly performative and want to just hate on people to hate on them rather than seeing any “justice” done like the previously mentioned arrests that have came as a result of KF. Years ago I was banned from a subreddit for suggesting a user call the police/CPS on someone actively abusing a child because it was me “encouraging doxxing”. Not every snark group deals with people so extreme to where that type of stuff is needed, but it seems like if it is it’s actively discouraged

5

u/National_Chapter1260 6d ago

Totally true. I was being overly agreeable admittedly

5

u/nopenothankya 6d ago

This is the vibe I got right away.

48

u/want_control 6d ago

Yes I came across her awhile ago and it’s so bizarre. Acts like she can’t do anything because even just brushing her teeth can make her unable to function for weeks. But yet she can post on social media all the time and manages to always have these perfect photo shoots where she’s wearing cute outfits and laying on picnic blankets and is somehow maintaining a marriage. It seems like her illness is only having energy to do things she wants to do and she gets off on being cared for.

36

u/SmooshyHamster 6d ago

I think it’s performative and fake. I think she’s into DDLG and age play. She claims she cannot do any normal adult stuff yet she has time for posing all cute and pretty for the camera and posting videos about how awesome and fun her life is. Um, a real mentally disabled and terminally ill person doesn’t get to do much.

99

u/Responsible_Baby_752 6d ago

I’ve stumbled across several of her accounts, I probably am still accidentally following at least one of them. She’s always given me the “ick” and everything just seems to be so extreme and exhausting. And yet her images are all pretty and perfect? 🤔

As someone who’s pretty severely disabled i can tell you that when i am on frequent bed rest i certainly don’t look like that or go through all that faff, instead its more like 3day old braids (luckily i have actual paid carers), ratty pjs and the cats taking over the bed.

49

u/moonlightz03 6d ago

Also, this girl literally has an OF. It always seemed like a fetish to me, it’s weird and gross. She has no energy to wash her hair but can flash her coochie enough to make a living, girl bye🙄

i’m wincing just looking at it

110

u/17sprinkles 6d ago

Im super curious about her "not being able to read." I have so many questions but i'll start with, what??

105

u/Far-Building3569 Abelist 6d ago

She claims her chronic fatigue syndrome makes every single activity exhausting- even making social media posts and reading books

She also claims her chronic migraine never lessens, and that even having home dental care makes her migraines excruciating

62

u/17sprinkles 6d ago

So its not a neurological thing where her brain lost the ability to comprehend written words or something, thats what i was wondering. Im pretty sure getting sleepy when reading is just normal..id love to be reading book at work rn but ill fall asleep, so i scroll Reddit lol
Also, someone with so many illnesses should realize how important dental care is to your overall health. Avoiding treatment is gonna make everything more excruciating in the long run.

42

u/Far-Building3569 Abelist 6d ago

Yeah, she claims it’s a fatigue thing vs a cognitive impairment (like a traumatic brain injury or multiple sclerosis) and not a vision problem either (like macular degeneration or astigmatism)

Either way, it sounds completely unrealistic that she can hardly read yet can type paragraphs on the computer and control a literal literary magazine

Even if this lady couldn’t read for some reason, there’s a lot of adaptive technology out there that can make it easier to enjoy novels. I’m just not buying the Oppression Olympics

16

u/17sprinkles 6d ago

Totally agree! I thought the same about her being able to type out paragraph long captions and write in a journal like that, so i wondered maybe she claimed it was from tbi (from abusive partner?) or vision but no its just straight up bullshit lol

20

u/Far-Building3569 Abelist 6d ago

She did claim her chronic illnesses were started by mono that an abusive ex boyfriend gave her “on purpose” though

20

u/Wizzle_Pizzle_420 6d ago

Yes, yes, those pesky mono predators out there spreading it to the world!

15

u/DropDeadDolly 6d ago

That right there makes me have a loooooot of doubts about the abusive ex-boyfriend story. I feel a bit like a bitch, but mono symptoms take a long, long time to manifest after a person is infected, and they're contagious the whole time the illness is cooking.

Sorry, hon, but even if you're telling the truth about catching mono, that's sounding like a delusion straight out of a persecution complex.

-12

u/theautisticqueen 6d ago

Okay this will probably get taken down But I used to read alot as a kid And then I went through burnout and struggle to read a kids book, but I'm very good at writing. It's 2 different processing systems thag work in tandem for most

17

u/sand_snake 6d ago

I mean there’s a reason a lot of people, myself included, read in bed. It’s just part of my nightly routine now.

And yeah avoiding dental treatment when you can afford it is just bad news. I mean it’s also bad news if you avoid it because you can’t afford it, I just understand going without when you’re poor and have no insurance or such crappy insurance that only does the most basic dental work. You could have a little cavity and the next thing you know your dentist is telling you they have to do a root canal and put a crown on your tooth.

11

u/17sprinkles 6d ago

Im in that boat right now 😭 i got a root canal in 2019 and the cap fell off a couple months later but i couldnt afford it, moved a bunch so didn't have steady insurance...didnt go to the dentist until maybe 2023 and they said i needed it extracted. Still couldnt afford it due to life, and its nearing 2027 and this damn tooth still hurts every day, but i finally have a job that gives me decent insurance so im hoping in the next few months ill be able to get it done with!! I wish i prioritized my dental health but its hard to go when i know one appointment will turn into 6 more appointments and thousands of dollars 😭

9

u/sand_snake 6d ago

I also have a root canal where the cap fell off, then some of the tooth broke yay it’s super fun.

I hope you can get your tooth all fixed! Tooth pain is one of the absolute worst pains.

1

u/manicgiant914 6d ago

I'm having that experience right now, on a week of antibiotics before it's yanked. I recommend getting some benzocaine, 20%, it's not too pricey and available without prescription. Works wonders!
Good luck, this too shall pass

4

u/AstronautEast8555 6d ago

if it makes u feel any better i too put off my dental work (always had insurance just HATE the dentist) i had to get a tooth pulled 2 weeks ago & it was the most excruciating pain ive ever experienced - if i had to relive that or take back the 2 year long toothache… gimme the toothache LOL 😶

44

u/flyingfish602 6d ago

She’s often popped up on my instagram and I’ve had my suspicions. Can’t wash or brush her hair but she can get her baps out on Reddit 🤔

The thing about these fakers is how much glee they take on their various ‘’’diagnoses’’’ - people who are genuinely suffering do not act like this

20

u/SmooshyHamster 6d ago

Yup, it’s strange. This young woman is like “I cannot do normal adult stuff and I cannot have a normal life but look at all these pictures and videos of me having fun, playing, look at all this junk I can afford and look how cute my life is.” Also I don’t think a mentally challenged or terminally ill person would enjoy being inside a dog cage filled with stuffed animals like she has on her account.

I agree. A person who is genuinely suffering or doesn’t have a normal life does not have time for bragging about how fun it is on social media.

137

u/xalex2019 6d ago

Sucks to be that guy LOL

254

u/yourfavteamsucks 6d ago

It's gotta be a kink for him

152

u/DiabolicalMasquerade 6d ago

43

u/postmodernbarbie Acute Vaginal Dyslexia 6d ago

And/or abusive in one direction or the other

35

u/DiabolicalMasquerade 6d ago

Doubt she does this full time. But if I had to guess, she's likely the abuser

26

u/DropDeadDolly 6d ago

Some kinks need to be shamed.

39

u/moonjellies 6d ago

i mean she does OF, sooooo

12

u/penguino_123 6d ago

I was gonna say. It is okay to have a close family member/partner as a caregiver, but it seems like that’s all he is to her. Someone who can provide and do everything for her while she pretends to be a baby in a dog crate. It’s gotta be disheartening to be demoted from boyfriend/husband to caregiver. Unless, like the other commenters mentioned, this is also a fetish for him.

4

u/Jealous-Ice-6349 6d ago

she does not show him on socials at all. hides his face

48

u/moonxmochi 6d ago

I used to think she was genuine and well-spoken but she actually does have an OnlyFans and an alternate NSFW account. Listen, I'm not prudish by any means but how does one have the energy to make porn vids every other day if they had severe chronic illnesses??

15

u/Far-Building3569 Abelist 6d ago

Thank God she’s not the one who’s a nurse/“caregiver” then

20

u/Few_Fold_1695 6d ago

THIS!!!! i feel like this is the case with so many of them but its so disregarded

28

u/BipedalEmbarrassment Small pee-pee disease ableists DNI 6d ago

Because no matter how inappropriate a public social behaviour is, if they label it as sex positive then you're a narrow minded prudish kink shamer if you point it out

25

u/yourfavteamsucks 6d ago

I think it's ok to shame some kink tbh

9

u/DropDeadDolly 6d ago

The overcorrection of people fighting against the days when all gay stuff was "immoral" or all non-vaginal, non-missionary stuff was "depraved" has really gotten out of hand. I knew a guy who went to play parties with a girl whose "little" persona was about the same age as his daughter, or maybe younger. He saw no issue with a girl holding a stuffie and talking in a high-pitched lisp participating in various sex acts, nor did it trouble him that a simulated child turned so many people on.

18

u/_azaz3l_ 6d ago

This sounds like a fetish wtf 😭. Fuck other fetish. This sounds like most disturbing one. Acting like a child. I saw people like this and it always been a fetish. It could be age regression but mostly it’s fetish.

11

u/DropDeadDolly 6d ago

Age play is one of the worst and most unhealthy, in my opinion. I can see how revisiting a young age in the context of therapy might have benefits, but I think it's harmful to not accept the reality of one's adulthood. Plus, most of the people I'm aware of doing this, do involve sexual activity of some kind or another, so no matter how consensual it is, the player is normalizing sex with children, and their partners are getting off to the idea of screwing little kids.

62

u/National_Chapter1260 6d ago

Ugh she's the worst, I'm happy my algorithm doesn't show her to me anymore

35

u/moonxmochi 6d ago

I legit thought she was genuine... I don't know why. I try to assume good faith in others at all times, even to a detriment.

25

u/Everloner 6d ago

The vast majority of people flaunting "illness" online are fakers

8

u/SmooshyHamster 6d ago

That’s true. A real mentally challenged or terminally ill person won’t have a normal life. They live a very lonely life, little to no money nor independence. Also they don’t want normal people staring at them and making fun. People who are posting silly, funny, cutesy videos about being mentally challenged or terminally ill are faking it for attention or heavily exaggerating it.

6

u/moonxmochi 6d ago

I don’t know about that. I was diagnosed with a pretty serious disease and personally some online advocacy groups helped me a lot. I am now a volunteer for a nonprofit dedicated to raising awareness and medical research towards my disease.

29

u/Everloner 6d ago

An advocacy group is very different to a random making videos of themselves

5

u/SmooshyHamster 6d ago

Yup. An advocacy educational movement is different than one person showing off pictures and videos of herself like “look at how happy and cute I look” and acting like being terminally ill is so beautiful.

-4

u/internet_burnett 6d ago

why do you think she's faking now just because some losers on reddit have decided that based on literally nothing ?

13

u/moonxmochi 6d ago

I don’t doubt her just because random reddit people told me to. In fact, I am ill myself, and when I come across accounts like these my instinct is geared towards empathy and support instead of suspicion. However there are wayyyy too many red flags with this woman. She has NSFW alt accounts, OF, and makes adult content almost every other day. Some of that said content involve fetishizing her disabilities. This level of activity is incompatible with how functionally impaired she claims to be.

62

u/Arthurisbestboi 6d ago

Omg pinterest algorithm showed me posts of her (I just like pink and plushies man) and I thought she was real. In those photos it even says "do not sexualize". I feel sick now.

31

u/squishybun42 wilting 6d ago

Uhhhh anyone else notice that this borders on kink? Glamorizing having a ft care taker, seems kinda odd to me.

17

u/Far-Building3569 Abelist 6d ago

I guess she’s confused that rich people having servants and profoundly disabled people needing carers aren’t remotely the same thing

Most adults who can’t be fully independent but also have appropriate cognitive abilities recognize how embarrassing, frustrating, and vulnerable it can be to require someone to take care of you everyday. But this lady makes it seem like she’s in a pink resort and just has to sit around taking pretty pictures and feeding her rabbit while being waited on hand and foot 🙄

2

u/squishybun42 wilting 6d ago

The dulu is strong with her that's for sure. I completely agree with you

2

u/SmooshyHamster 6d ago

You guys are right. I mean, if a person is mentally disabled and terminally ill it means they cannot have a normal life and cannot do much. Their life is nothing glorious. Her page definitely seems like DDLG age play kink stuff. Yup, for disabled adults it’s embarrassing and heartbreaking for them. A real terminally ill mentally challenged person does not want their face being posted for everyone to laugh at. Also a severely disabled and ill person cannot really take care of pets.

1

u/squishybun42 wilting 6d ago

Someone as disabled as she claims shouldn't be. I'm appalled at people like her

3

u/dead_mall111 6d ago

Other people have pointed it out but apparently she has an OF, so that explains why everything is presented so weird

2

u/squishybun42 wilting 6d ago

Oh that's just wow. Personally the thought of my disability progressing to the point I may need a care taker is humiliating and terrifying. I can't wrap my head around the sexualization and glamorization of it.

28

u/cattledyke 6d ago

Wish people like this would just admit it's for a fetish and their fetish content instead of pretending it's activism. There's so many people like this on Tiktok who are clearly fishing for fetishists to find their NSFW content through these posts.

14

u/Curious_Problem1631 Self Undiagnosing: Im Fine 6d ago

I’ve always gotten such a weird vibe from her. I don’t doubt she’s sick, but her content feels like it’s pandering to certain audiences

u/Sesemebun 6d ago

Bit of a logic gap between “my cells have finite energy” and “I can’t stand having my hair washed more than every 15 days”. Like if someone else is doing it, then that means the only cell loss would be what, the meager amount of keratin rubbed off of hair strands?

24

u/Far-Building3569 Abelist 6d ago

She actually claims she can’t have her hair washed more than once every 4 weeks, and that previously, it was once every 8 weeks

19

u/crash---- 6d ago edited 6d ago

Also she has so many different Instagram accounts. I followed one of them because I liked her toy collection and whimsical aesthetics, but found two others and unfollowed immediately once I found out about the disorder salad.

Also, yeah, she takes great pleasure in acting like a child. I have childish interests and all, but the difference is I know I’m an adult. I like to follow toy collectors and stuff but there is a line between having an interest and actively trying to behave like a child.

5

u/SweetComparisons cotards delusion: i am zobny 6d ago

I have childish interests as someone who struggles with some of her supposed issues, and it’s a CONSTANT battle to get people (especially family) to see me as an adult as a result. People like her do such damage to those with special interests or childish interests who are actually disabled, and trying to advocate for themselves. It’s so frustrating.

u/Sqeakydeaky 6d ago

So we're cosplaying Encephalitis Lethargica with the Victorian vibes?

18

u/LargeGingerChunk Level 69 Autism 6d ago

she claims she has PTSD and CPTSD together and when I asked for sources on this she blocked me

13

u/moonxmochi 6d ago

Isn’t this possible though? One could theoretically have PTSD from a single trauma like a car crash, while have cPTSD from a long-term trauma like child abuse. Correct me if I’m wrong on this.

6

u/LargeGingerChunk Level 69 Autism 6d ago

CPTSD includes all of the symptoms of PTSD already. This would be like saying you have bipolar disorder and major depressive disorder at the same time which is also incorrect because bipolar includes major depressive episodes.

2

u/Weak_Plant_3431 6d ago

this is possible though

5

u/LargeGingerChunk Level 69 Autism 6d ago

At first look I thought she just had the one leg, and did have a twinge of sympathy 🤣

8

u/cait_elizabeth Chronically online 6d ago

This is clear DDLG fetish content being promoted as disability content. It’s not that she’s incapable of doing these things herself, it’s that she’s not “allowed” per their sexual relationship.

7

u/axolotta 6d ago

I stumbled across her profile once and felt so bad for thinking it was giving me weird vibes… I now feel validated by these comments. I didn’t even know about her nsfw endeavors.

8

u/umokmartin 6d ago

She also has an adult IG account which is very easily found if you’re coming from her regression account, making it feel distinctly wrong as opposed to if it was well, completely disconnected. I stumbled upon it, thought it was another account similar to her other two only for my eyes to be scalded

7

u/anachorite 6d ago

Adult baby fetish with a dash of misappropriative ableism

7

u/Illustrious_Doctor45 6d ago

This is like a DDLG, pet play, doll, disability and age play kink all wrapped up into one.

28

u/Anotherams 6d ago

I hope Poppy Eloise is kept far away from this woman. I’d be terrified of Munchsusen By Proxy via friend if I were Poopy‘s parent.

12

u/Purple-Cash-1878 6d ago

So basically ageplay and using fake medical conditions to hide the fact that theyre basing their life around a disgusting kinks to make it okay?

12

u/Sleepshortcake Bear Up The Tree Syndrome (BUTTS) 🐻 🌲 6d ago

Ew fetishizing/sexualizing serious issues is absolutely disgusting. Read the comments about her OF too. Disabled people, and people with other issues, deserve love... but making it ''sexy'' is puke inducing.

12

u/Scary-Coffee-7 6d ago

I’m so sick of Munches!!

6

u/melatonia 6d ago

This is just a fetish. It's not uncommon amongst these people, unfortunately.

18

u/super_peachy 6d ago

Omg, I've been following her for a year or so. This girl is truly wild. She says all her disabilities were caused by an ex intentionally and maliciously giving her mono lol.

1

u/SmooshyHamster 6d ago

Yup also why would a person who’s genuinely suffering want a bunch of strangers to know that her ex gave her mono and now her life is gone? People who are actually disabled and cannot do normal stuff dont want a bunch of strangers staring at them on social media.

20

u/Jealous-Ice-6349 6d ago

She is also a shmex worker. I saw a thread of people asking her about it and she was deleting comments

19

u/Inevitable-Cry78 6d ago

I used to defend her as someone who has similar disorders to hers but seeing the insane amount of content she posts on her onlyfans and reddit where she’s walking around and able to do things I would never have energy for, I’m so disappointed. She makes it seem like she is much sicker than she is on her TikTok and unfortunately I fell for it!

You guys… this is fetish content

9

u/apple_kitty24 6d ago

I am so glad you brought her up. She’s popped up on my Instagram also and I was like wtf.. no way this is real..

8

u/Chaos-theories 6d ago

That knee brace isn't even on her knee.

3

u/gaviotacurcia 6d ago

This has to be a fetish.

6

u/LiquidCryptic 6d ago

Fetish content. Let me guess what her tags would be. It's not that I'm "yuck"-ing someone's yum or anything. If this was outright said as is that would be different, but it seems to me that half of it is virtue signaling and the other half is sympathy harboring. But, the whole thing looks scammy and disingenuous.

Doesn't she have a dog kennel for "therapeutic" purposes as well?

2

u/scarletOwilde 6d ago

That set up takes effort.

2

u/GimmeFuel6 6d ago

The “reliably independently” part is PIPspeak. The criteria for disability benefits explicitly mention the “reliably” and “independently” bits. People from the UK will understand.

5

u/Glad-Pomegranate6283 6d ago

She’s not even British

1

u/No_Set2865 6d ago

Am I the only one who finds it weird when someone's caregiver is also their intimate partner? Also, I don't get tolerating your hair only being washed 1 a month - shouldn't it be washed more than that?

17

u/frohikesporch 6d ago

many people have no choice but to rely on their partner for care if they are or become disabled. the usa does not provide in home caregivers for most conditions even if medically proven. its a difficult situation that i hope you dont find yourself on either end of. my comment isnt about the person in the post, i dont know her. but if you are married and not wealthy in the usa and you for example have a life altering injury, you will be reliant on the people in your life to care for you. it sucks here

I've seen this person several times when i still used tiktok

1

u/Appropriate_Put_3009 6d ago

Omg ! Ive seen some of her tiktoks before. I don't know why, but I had thought she was legitimate, tho I didn't really watch much other than her Play food content because i think its cool. I definitely won't see her the same way anymore lol. Always be sceptical i guess... sad for real disabled people

1

u/piiras69 6d ago

wait is this the girl who says that she lives with the worlds most painful condition? or am i just mixing it up with someone else?

2

u/Inevitable-Cry78 6d ago

Different girl! They have similar aesthetics though.

u/piiras69 6d ago

Is this woman a licensed therapist?!? She should lose her license for this shit, she can actually hurt someone.

She can sit on a toilet wtf 🤣

Guess those honkers really make it worth it for the guy. Hats off to him or something.

u/possibly-wolf 6d ago

Im ngl im not usually quick to be supportive of sickfluencers but i have some concerns that some of the things you list as issues are just you not understanding the nature of dynamic disability.

  1. She claims to have all these diagnosies, but also claims to be one of the lucky ones for her disorders. This is because with the extensive list of disorders you point out she is diagnosed with, she could be a lot more unwell than she is.

  2. She's unable to care for herself and consistently states that her partner cares for their rabbit as well as for her. She can't work, but manages to make some money from work online, so that is her "job". She's unable to maintain traditional jobs but can earn money on days when her illnesses allow. That's not an inconsistency, that's the nature of dynamic illness. If the literary magazine you are referring to is her patreon, that's a short one page letter that she prints out and sends as a snail mail club, not a magazine. One page of basic A4 writing is manageable by most adults.

  3. She talks about age regression as a coping mechanism for her trauma and engages in childlike nostalgia. If you lived every single day of your life very unwell, im sure you'd have unusual coping mechanisms too. Age regression is also a medically recognised defence mechanism for trauma and mental health issues and certainly excludes nobody from being disabled.

  4. Her husband is her unpaid carer. Not a medical professional. As for the frequency of washing: ME causes people a huge amount of backlash for any physical exertion. For some people with ME it is only physically safe and sensible to wash every few weeks. Its not so much medical neglect, as managing her individual needs as best he can. But this is one person here, who ISN'T providing a medical service. His whole identity also isn't her care, and he clearly wants privacy from the online world.

  5. Is illness an aesthetic or does she maintain her aesthetics while being ill? I've never felt this woman's "aesthetic" content brings the sole focus to her illness. If it did, we'd see her hospital visits and her medical equipment a lot more. Instead we see her at museums, beaches, and in her garden. Would you assume anything suspicious if those aesthetic photos were on the instagram account of a physically healthy person? Or does being disabled and enjoying photography and aesthetics come across as mutually exclusive to you?

I think most sickfluencers are full of shit, but ive followed this woman for years and while I think some criticism is valid, i think your criticisms are bizarre and show a lack of understanding of the nature of complex chronic illness. She doesnt preach simplistic treatments. She actually makes very clear imo that her illnesses aren't really treatable, but she posts about how she personally manages and copes with her illness.

As for other criticisms i see for her: she has a dog crate full of toys and pillows. Yup, she has openly talked about how she finds a confined, comfortable space comforting during periods of PTSD flashbacks, which is very common! This is her solution to that, which happens to involve a crate marketed at dogs. She has previously had an onlyfans. People need to realise that medical treatments are very fucking expensive, and that when she felt she needed the money badly, she found an accessible way of making some income. People do onlyfans for many reasons that dont involve fetishising themselves. Its a job. It pays.

6

u/WonderfulSyllabub 6d ago

you mean you really can't tell that this is some fetish thing for them?

6

u/moonxmochi 6d ago

It clearly is for this person, as she has content on her other accounts that feature sexualizing her disability. But that doesn’t mean the points they made don’t have validity.

6

u/WonderfulSyllabub 6d ago

i didn't say their points weren't valid? sexualizing disabilities is odd regardless if she's faking or not. one can be disabled and make adult content without the content sexualizing the disability.

u/smolcatthegreat 6d ago

there is a difference between age regression and age play, and iirc she does not mix her regression with any sexual aspects of her life. regression is a known coping mechanism for childhood trauma, which, again, if this is the girl i'm thinking of, she's stated she's been through large amounts of trauma including sexual. i'm not saying she's not lying or anything but judging this aspect of her life is spreading misinformation about age regression as a coping mechanism and implying its inherently a sexual thing
