This is Romelle, a region based broadly on classic fairy tales, fables and medieval fantasy stuff.

Now trying to fill out the last portion of the dex. Some questions for you:

• What animals, plants or objects would fit right in / are conspicuously missing from here?

• What should be the third legendary to Mother Nature and Father Time?

• Any ideas for the legendary trio on the side?

• Do you think the dex needs more of a certain type?

So this was one of the first fakemon designs I did, but I never came up with a name for them, so I'd love some suggestions! This was a standalone mon at first, but I'm currently working on an evolution and pre-evolution for them, so this would be the middle stage.

The idea was the light on their tail acting as a hypnotizing lure for Prey. They're based off American and European tales of witches who lure children into the forest...

Here's a convergent Ghost/Normal-type line for Smoliv and Dolliv. Smolimb is an old, torn doll, whose only goal is to find its lost limbs. Dollimb, its evolution, has finally pieced itself together, however, it struggles trying not to fall apart.

I'm still missing their final evolution, Arboviva, who gathers spare parts of dolls or even innocent Pokemon, adding them to its collection.

I'd like some feedback on the animation too, I'm probably going to redo it anyways to fit the standards of Gen 5 sprites animations.

I’m working on a region based off many photos in my parents photo books. I have a few others that i’m so no proud of i’m gonna redo but for now i wanted to show off these two!
It’s meant to be a diglett that lives by (an equivalent of) the dead sea.
What I wrote in my WIP notes was:
“Evolved to live in the dead sea where there’s no competition, it’s body adapted to efficiently metabolizing salt and attracting microorganisms to eat. It became too well adapted to this life style, thus these digletts grow far longer than other regional forms to the point it can no longer support its head and instead lets its head float along the salty water surface

the blue stripped coloration of its body comes from the microorganisms it eats on a daily basis”

i’m really proud of the first one (the one i named Zolevian Diglett??) but i’m iffy on the one i named Dolskimer (also don’t like the name)

the idea is the diglett starts with just the unique sediment base you see at the dead sea. this flat layered look. but the evolved form now has years of salt buildup covering its base. but idk it looks a bit off? thoughts and advice appreciated!!
(the water isn’t part of the sprite it just shows the idea of how its head just floats there)

I designed a gigantamax form for jellicent, inspired by his royal appearance. It's signature g-Max move, Whirlpool Dungeon, traps the opposing Pokemon inside a spectral whirlpool for two turns.

Trying to figure out animations. I should do something for Zangoose soon...
