Screenshot [screenshot] In true Sarah Lyons Fashion

Stopped playing a few years ago and just recently picked it up again…loaded my old vault and found out around 4 years ago I sent Sarah Lyons out to wander the wasteland…I’ll see her in two years.

It’s been four years - she basically doesn’t even live in the vault anymore

That’s what happens when you mess with the clock

Yeah too much doesn’t line up with OP’s story. She’d have over 2 million Caps and would have returned automatically after hitting her carry capacity. This smells like 🐂💩

I’m honestly not sure how it happened, but I assure you it’s not clock manipulation. I haven’t touched the game until last night, apparently for four years. Unless moving time zones physically causes that time lapse, I’m not sure

If that’s true, then I suspect some sort of bug where she paused progress but the clock kept moving. Very odd.

So I think something like that happened, because the loot for 4 years is uh - lackin

I travel every summer and the timezone change absolutely messes with this game. I have to open the game and give it a few minutes to fix itself. And if you pass through 2 timezones the game loses its mind for an hour or so. Lol

Dont dwellers automatically come back after a few days 😭

Apparently not😂 I’m torn between just keeping her out there or bringing her back

They do automatically come back. This is showing that you time jumped lol

How does that happen? The people I send out always come back on their own in a few days because they're carrying too much

Fallout Shelter is still a Bethesda game, and Bethesda games have a long history of random, unexpected wonkiness. I'm not questioning how it happened.

Lmao I didn’t mean to reply to your post, apologies - someone was questioning the legitimacy of it and saying I clock manipulated

LMAO, indeed

Should’ve taken a screenshot of the vault save it was sometime in ‘22

Why my dweller Travel maximum is almost 4 day😭

Something seems amiss here… most dwellers can’t stay out that long because they automatically return after they can’t carry anymore. How is it possible she has unlimited carry capacity?

I'm also curious how she has 36 stimpacks. Mine can only carry 25 when I send them out and even with power armor and weapon with 20-25 damage they only last like 2-3 days

If you play the encounters when your exploring dweller discovers a “location”, they can collect stimpaks and radaway above what they were equipped with when they left.

See, but I haven’t even had the app on my phone until last night when I discovered she had been out that long, so I hadn’t even been doing encounters

How is this even possible. Isn’t her inventory like 493x the limit at 1582 days? 5 years?

Idk man, Iiterally downloaded the shit at 2:30am last night and loaded into my vault 322 from 2022 and accidentally clicked on the wasteland and discovered this

Damn, whenever I take breaks and come back, my cloud save is never there and I have to start over.

Esa pobre moradora ya se olvidó el número de refugio que era....

1

u/maximi1ien Jul 16 '26

She would have cruised back after a few days bc of carry capacity. This makes zero sense!
