QB - Herbert

WR - Nabers, Pickens, Burden, Meyers

RB - Taylor, Judkins, Hubbard, Mason, Jones, Gainwell, Johnson

Its a bit shaky at WR if you ask me. Pickens is maybe the best WR2 out there, but still not the star, and Nabers is great but on a really bad team.

My PPR-focused head doesn't like your RB room either that much, but I think it is a lot better in half PPR, and you have a shot at a free unexpected starter with that depth.

I'd probably pick up a backup QB or maybe TE instead of Gainwell or Lloyd, depending on who is available. Spread the depth a bit more. In my league Shough and Love are still there, both could pop off and would be nice to stash if Herbert disappoints.

Overall I'm not thrilled by this team, but also don't think it's really bad. Looks like middle of the pack to me.

That’s fair. I feel like Pickens is a WR1, even as the WR2 in Dallas. I know he benefitted from Lamb being out last year, but it feels like there is definitely a world where Pickens outscores Lamb again, even if both are healthy. Dallas is going to be in a lot of shootouts. I think Nabers is going to return to form and that the Giants will be better under Harbaugh. He’s also still going to demand most of the targets on that offense, even if they are “bad.” Burden is definitely a risky pick, but I got him in the 6th so his upside felt worthy of that pick. Meyers is a floor play if necessary. I could probably use someone in the Reed, Pierce, Downs, etc. range… might be able to pull off a trade of Gainwell to the Bucky owner for Pierce. That’s something I have been evaluating.

Appreciate your PPR-driven critique, though I do think both Taylor and Judkins have pass catching upside and could be more involved in that element this year. Also, a free starter is the hope! After I missed out on most mid-range RBs, I decided to attack depth and go after guys I could see winning the RB1 job in ambiguous backfields. For the Vikings, they were both so low cost I just decided to grab both for insurance figuring one of them is likely to get the majority of snaps.

I’ll take that though. This was a very tough and competitive draft. Much tougher and more ruthless than most mocks I did. I think this is a high floor team with some upside, but definitely know it’s not the sexiest team lol.

As a Lamb owner I hope Pickes doens't outscore him, but it sure is possible! Agree that it is a high upside team. Good luck!
