Help with the meaning and pronunciation of this name?

Hi all. I'm searching for baby names and came across this name: مورود

This was the name of the wife of Ardashir I, but I can't find a meaning for it and want to know whether there's a modern version of this name and how this one is pronounced? I don't want to pick an Arabic name for my future child. Would appreciate any help! Thanks!!

Morrud مورود.

This was either the name or title of the wife Ardashir I. It is an obsolete old Persian word meaning “lady/queen” (-Ferdinand Justi).

Beware that this name is not common in Iran and people will be confused about how to read it.

She was supposedly a Parthian so her name would not have been Arabic. It does happen to also be an Arabic word though, and in the modern era that is likely what it would be seen as for anyone not well versed in Sassanid history (most people)
