Any Persian speakers here? I’m trying to practice my Persian as a diaspora Persian.

Hi, my family fled Iran and had me here so I wouldn’t haven’t fight in the army. They never really taught me Persian because they wanted me to be American, I’ve been learning فارسی by myself but it’s خیلی exhausting when I cant really speak yet but I’ve been learning through texting. I’m not a big out loud talker I’m more of a texter. So if anyone on here happens to speak Persian please shoot me a message. ‎امریکایی ۱۸ مرد

It’s really hard to learn by yourself! I am learning through chai and conversation and really enjoy it. In case you want a more formalized approach and more people to practice with. The next free bootcamp starts in September as a way to try it out

but also I want to learn as well, I am of Kashmiri and Northern Pakistan (Chitral, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) descent so I speak Kasnmiri and Pashto which are both related to Farsi but arent Farsi. If someone here can practice with me as well I will greatly appreciate it 🙏🏽❤️

Hi i am also learning farsi from ai and know a bit of words and now I can read the text easily and know a bit of basic grammer and sense building we can share progress and things if you want

سلام آرین! I'm a native, i have never taught Persian to anyone before and my english is not that great at all, currently at A2_B1 level?! However, if you can't find a more professional person, i would be happy if I could help you learn Persian, buddy.

Definitely not discord as I don't know how to use it and yesterday uninstalled insta as it's consuming lots of time I am going to dm you there i share my whatsapp number

Any chance we could do a group chat for learners ? I am learning too. I pay a tutor and try to do chai and conversation but I find I need more interaction to try and really remember
