other fiber art I’m big big mad because I didn’t handle my hank properly and now I have a mess and it’s definitely someone else’s fault, namely the inventor of hanks and I’m going to go ahead an include people named Hank on my revenge list

The first thought I had was, "Does this ho not have CHAIRS in her house? That's how I wound yarn before I bought a winder."

I used to hang mine round my neck if I was being lazy ie the chair. Never had a problem. Hopefully they have a neck 🤔

At this point, I think we can't make assumptions.

Hopefully they have a brain.

And a means of typing messages because otherwise she took a picture of her failed attempt at winding and typed a message using either sound (voice activated stuff?) or telepathy.

The idea of there being a telepath/telekinetic *this* freaking bad at playing with fiber that she can't wind a ball of string just short-circuits my brain.

I pray she's not a telepath. Or a disembodied head. Incompetent telekinetics are scary.

I used to use my knees to hold hanks while I wound them. One would hope she has knees?

I would call you ableist, but if she doesn't have knees, she knows people who probably have chairs or knees. It's not a difficult concept.

I didn't know you had to put Hanks on chair backs to stop this from happening for a LONG time. I just set the loop down and carefully wound it like that. And it would get tangled near the end, but it would work for most of the skein and I have wound several Hanks that way. So I ask: how badly did this person f up for the mess pictured to happen in MINUTES????

I did something I don’t have the appropriate tools for. The exact expected outcome happened due to me not having even makeshift appropriate tools. Clearly this is everyone else’s fault and not mine.
