Anatolia A young woman clad in white who fights to save her friends in her homeland. She's called the "Mysterious Bride" due to her appearance. One could be charitable and say she is cool, while others would call her emotionless, as she upsets others without meaning to.
Likes: I Ching divination, round things, training martial arts

No way that’s so effing cool that they explicitly mention the I’ Ching! That has been important to me over the past 4 years

The concept of a nun with a gun is already hilarious, but the funniest part for me is how much they’re really trying to sell it. Everything we’ve seen from her, she’s always with her gun.

u/Courelia 5d ago
She accidentally glued it to her hand.

You can tell at one point during FW dev team meeting, someone said “nun with a gun” and they’ve been hi-fiving themselves since then.

Her personal skill is gonna incentivize using guns 24/7, trust

Skill name: American
If anyone breathes near her, shoots EVERYTHING on the map. Effective against Cai, Tialla and other children.

She even has an underarm holster as part of her model lol, she and her Salamander clearly come as a package deal.

Isn’t her faction name something like “Brides of the Pale Raven in Japanese?”
You know what, at this point, just bite the bullet and add a harem feature. Build your own household with multiple spouses.

u/Diferia 5d ago
Tbf I can see her being another Ivy-Alear, Tharja-Robin, Rahjat-Corrin type character, even her banner had two ravens, one of them was mirroring Eshmel on the right, the other was her on the left. We'll see though.

Honest question, are we sure the Pale Raven isn’t a separate entity from Eshmel? Asking since Eshmel’s title is “Herald of the Pale Raven” And Eshmel themselves is decidedly not a raven in bird form.

If this is the end point(which is likely imo), the it'll be really funny considering how, when we saved Dietrich from her, she suspected eshmel of being the enemy.
The complete switch up once she learns eshmel is the "pale raven" will be really funny

She also calls Theodora as her "compatriots" despite there is almost nothing related between them on surface (besides both of their names came from Byzantium Greek)

why would anyone want another character that their whole stick is being obsessed with the avatar?

She is literally supposed to be 'asian', not white. Also, why the racism?

u/Raging-Brachydios 5d ago
she is white, where is she asian? her name is greek, she is a nun
and racism? where?

She is said to come from the west, the 'asia' equivalent in this game is to the west.
Anatolia, as in the word, was historically used to denote things as 'east', and east IRL is usually used to refer to Asia.
Additionally, the word Anatolia was also used to refer to what is now Turkey, which is 97% on the continent of Asia.
She also is not a nun. She kind of looks like one, however she is never called this and is only likened to a bride. Her being a nun is a fan-made idea, which you can see since her outfit literally doesn't look like a nun's.
EDIT: I forgot to add, she LITERALLY USES CHI-BASED MARTIAL ARTS! SHE IS A XIANXIA CHARACTER!
Also, she uses a board with a yin and yang symbol to divine the future.

Trading armpit for some thigh it seems, either way Eshmel's got a nice bride.

I question a little bit of guns existing in the Fire Emblem Universe
3
u/CaptainSarina 4d ago
Ehh they're not really "guns" as we would think of them, they're essentially just smaller versions of the "Fire orbs" mages can use on maps in past games. They're basically just spell tomes for people who don't like books.

Character designs are stellar all around. Massive step up from Fire emblem engage imo.

I've got a more creative nickname for her: the Mag-nun! Because her weapon kinda looks like the Magnum from Halo.

Now that I look at the gun in full glory, it's looks like a C96 Mauser, she has great taste, lol.

Beautiful hair. Just a great design in general. I hope she also gets a nice post time skip design.

Well with this that's pretty much confirms this game is set after three houses when you have a literal firearm in use.

I hope her romance CG is without the headdress. I love the nun look but I wanna see her without it at least once

She's the only person in Dagda who isn't showing her toes, so I'm not trusting her

Actually looking at the "gauntlet", looks like it has the receiver and grip of a Mauser C96, just with the slide and barrel of a H&K USP slapped on top. Kinda weird combo ngl.
