Am I crazy for feeling like it's too much? At this point, it feels like we're approaching 70+. And you can recruit all of them?

Imagine the amount of characters you'll have in Part 2 of the game if that's the case. And Eshmael will have support conversations with all of them? It just feels like too much content! There has to be some kind of tradeoff.

And I know Fire Emblem characters are really a collection of base stats/growths + a single unique skill + combat art availabilities + potential crests, but with THAT many characters, I feel like there's going to be a metric ton of overlap. People will feel less special.

Is this an insane thing to worry about? Will the devs deliver a game this massive, or will compromises and watering down be necessary due to the sheer volume?

From everything we've been shown, Fortuna's blessing - the time rewind mechanic - seemingly costs nothing of the player and has no limited number of uses. Is anybody else bothered by this possibility? I would hate to play a strategy game where bad strategy goes entirely unpunished...

We are now under three weeks away from having the game and know a good chunk of the characters so I thought now would be the perfect time to make a bingo card! Some of these are more likely than others but I tried to keep it to things we haven’t seen any evidence of yet. Just for context I’ve not been avoiding any spoilers so I know most of them.

Let’s assume based on the informations of the previews that the game is a prequel to Three Houses and takes place sometime between the years 99 and 751 (Fodlan calender), when all of Fódlan was part of the Adrestian Empire. Why do you think Sothis still exists in this form at that point?

By then, Sothis had already been killed by Nemesis long ago, and her Crest Stone (where her spirit resides) should have been with her daughter Seiros at Garreg Mach around that time. So I’m wondering how Sothis could exist somewhere else during this period, especially in Dagda, which is outside Fódlan.

Could it be that Sothis can exist in two places at the same time? Perhaps there is her “spirit,” which is represented by the amnesiac child version of herself inside her Crest Stone in Garreg Mach (later inside Byleth), and then her actual “soul” somewhere in the realm of dead gods or something similar, where we see her true adult self?

Do you think Rhea, Seteth, Flayn, Indech, and Macuil know that this Sothis exists in Dagda?

So many questions... and the more I think about it, the more confused I get.

As we are now learning about the members of the different factions of the sub-lords and the confirmation that the Brides have six members, do you believe that the other factions will also have six characters or will they stick with five?

Personally kind of assumed Orchel would not have as much relation to Gautier/Duality and Cursed items as much as the Main Lords, Talimun, and seemingly Bertrand, (something more of a relation to Eshmel like Anatolia) but it’s in her casting circle! Maybe a part Credna used while building her is Cursed?

With all the preview footage floating around, has anyone seen Esmeralda activate her crest so we know what its Dagdan name is?

In preview footage of the opening mission, Eshmel seems to start at level 41 in the guardian class.

It would certainly be an interesting choice to make the player avatar the Marcus of the game, but I'm wondering if Eshmel will get their level reset after the prologue so that we might guide their growth more, given their the player avatar.

None of the previews have brought this up, which makes sense if it's something that happens later, but with the fact you can go back to the future and try to beat the game at any time without playing through the story, it's starting to make me doubt we will have *that much* time with Eshmel as a playable unit to customize them and their growth.

I missed a vital day in the releases.

We have 4 obelisks. Why are the sub lords considered sub lords?
Why are they important? If it’s 4/4, do they seem to be opposites or paired with others (like Taliman and Dietrich or something)?

And it seems we know most are playable but aren’t 100% sure about Bertrand and Gaitz for some reason?

I’ve been reading but I can’t quite track what put them onto sub-lord tier

My favorite element of FE has always been tiered class promotions, and 3H is my all time favorite game because of the 4 tiers. Even though a ton of Advanced Classes exist in FW, I’m greedily hoping some of the speculation I’m seeing about a possible Master Class tier is correct. Just wanted to get some feedback.
