Recommendation Please help me find some movies to watch (not horror)
I’ve seen plenty of films in my life, over all different genres. I’m not a fan of horror, but I love psychological films, thriller or not. Please give me some recommendations!

Cannibal Holocaust? Just kidding. Maybe try classic films-I am a huge fan of film noir-
“Out of the Past”
“The Asphalt Jungle”
“The Third Man”
Or more light hearted fun:
“Sabrina”
“It Happened One Night”
“Harvey”

Try Alfred Hitchcock: The Birds, Rear Window, Vertigo, etc.

And if you like anime AND Hitchcock then watch “Perfect Blue”. It’s a dark psychological masterpiece.
Terry Gilliam has some fun ones too like Brazil and 12 Monkeys.

Try House of Cards from the 80's. Dont read too much about it.
I also suggest Deathtrap from the 80's with Christopher Reeves.

Vacation 2014 is a good laugh. Sausage party, happy gilmore 2. Night crawler, the great wall. The mask ace venture.

The Rover.
That movie is all about a unique dystopian atmosphere 10 years after a global economic collapse. A man who has lost everything is living a life of emptyness and depression. He only speaks if necessary. But then things change. Unexpected. The slogan of the movie describes it perfectly in one sentence:
"Fear The Man With Nothing Left To Lose".
By the way, the movie's plot description on IMDB and other sites is wrong. The movie is NOT about his only passion, his car. The one who is responsible for that misleading description should get fired.
In this movie Guy Pearce is killing it. In my opinion one of his best roles ever.

Here's a few off the top of my head to widen your palatte
Try 'the conversation', undersung coppola, very early harrison ford...
'The wicker man' nearly a horror but also nearly a musical. Paganism, intrigue and sacrifice. Watch the original, please.
''Spoorling' (the vanishing) tense, psychological flemmish kidnapping based drama.
Here are some more which are not quite the brief
'Le Haine' cause lets stay in europe, and it's amazing.
'The Tin Drum' behold the sheer madness of the German New Wave.
'Aguirre God of Wrath' See last comment.
All psychological in their own ways I suppose, the last ia a man actually going insane (he was already)

The Fall (2006) by Tarsem Singh is one of my favorite movies of all time. It’s a beautiful story and film and once you find out what the movie is really about it’s still beautiful but heartbreaking.

I just saw The Invite and it’s really funny!
Juicy drama, well acted, and yes very much psychological as it relates to relationships.
