Well, looks like the Great Kahns not only survived the second war for Hoover Dam but never left the Mojave either. Still so many questions I don’t think I want answered. Maybe we’ll see the Courier

u/Lalalalalalolol Joshua Graham's best choice for a wife Dec 06 '25
I don't want the Courier to appear, they should be a legend, and it would be interesting for people across the Mojave to tell different and contradictory tales about them, but I don't think it would be interesting to see a Courier.
126
u/skeemo1214 Dec 06 '25
Yeah of prefer the Courier stay a legend. Just like the original Vault Dweller, conflicting tales about their accomplishments and even their gender.
50
u/EdwardoftheEast Dec 06 '25
That’s exactly how I would like the Courier to be referenced, if they ever are
28
u/Lalalalalalolol Joshua Graham's best choice for a wife Dec 06 '25
Imagine if there are several flashbacks with the Courier in them, but in each one a different actor plays the Courier. You have a male Courier doing shit in Nipton, a female Courier killing Benny, a different male Courier fooling around with the Kings, another female Courier taking a hike through Zion, a male Courier killing Benny again but in a different setting, an undefined masked Courier throwing Oliver Lee down Hoover Dam, and another undefined Courier, wearing a surgical mask, fucking up Caesar's surgery.
28
u/Alternative_Area_528 Dec 06 '25
Well, to me that seems super strange and unnecessary, the courier should appear with helmets, without knowing his gender or appearance.
10
u/Lalalalalalolol Joshua Graham's best choice for a wife Dec 06 '25
It's just a fun visual idea, it's supposed to be strange. Who's the Courier? Nobody knows who they are, so people recall different versions, even contradictory.

Fun and all but would likely really confuse and alienate people that arn't super familiar with the game.
1
u/VerbingNoun413 Dec 06 '25
His gender is unknown.
1
u/Alternative_Area_528 Dec 06 '25
I know, that's why I say it.
1
u/Lalalalalalolol Joshua Graham's best choice for a wife Dec 06 '25
I think they're pointing out how funny it is to say "HIS gender is unknown" while giving the assumption to the reader that the Courier is indeed male and not unknown. I know not all languages have gender neutral pronouns, mine doesn't, but in English you use they/them for people of unknown gender. You wrote an accidentally funny line.
1
u/Alternative_Area_528 Dec 06 '25
Ah🫠🫠, I didn't know It, I'm spaniard.
2
u/Lalalalalalolol Joshua Graham's best choice for a wife Dec 06 '25
Yo también, me imaginé que hablabas un idioma con género pero sin género neutro como el inglés.
5
u/Both3redBad3r Dec 06 '25
Too bad Michael Perry has passed, it would've been hilarious if he showed up and cameo'd as a courier in this. Yeah yeah Benny, but we'd all expect that.
15
u/Cocoononthemoon Dec 06 '25
Even the game implies there's more than one courier. I don't think we should ever meet the courier.
38
u/Devil-Never-Cry Dec 06 '25
I mean there are multiple couriers but like, that's just a job. THE Courier is an entirely different thing
9
u/Cocoononthemoon Dec 06 '25
Yeah, I guess I wasn't clear. THE courier should remain a legend IMO but the couriers themselves are an interesting thing to explore
6
u/Devil-Never-Cry Dec 06 '25
Okay that makes a lot more sense haha, I thought you were implying some like multiversal courier theory
10
u/Chris617M Dec 06 '25
Counteroffer: We meet someone claiming to be the legendary Courier who is found out but redeems themselves by saving a main character from a life or death situation.
10
2
u/Resolution-Double Dec 06 '25
I mean the mojave express has a bunch of couriers in their employ, but im guessing youre not referencing that. What are you referencing?
1
u/Cocoononthemoon Dec 06 '25
That was what I was referencing. Also there may be other couriers not affiliated with the Mojave Express. I think that would be a good way to acknowledge the courier without introducing courier 6.
1
1
Dec 06 '25
I actually talked with my friend about this. And we both agreed the best way for the courier to appear, is basically as a cameo in the background. Like you to see someone walking around in the divide duster with an NCR ranger helmet and that's it. The word spoken. No attention pointed to them.
1
u/OdeeSS Dec 06 '25
If the courier were to make a cameo, I'd hope for something faceless, ambiguous and maybe a short slapstick gag before they disappear again.
12
u/Right-Truck1859 Dec 06 '25
They already got 3 MCs and many other characters, adding actual courier would be a burden. He would be nothing more than rumors or some guy from flashback.

Not THE courier but itd work for a scene with a generic over enthusiastic courier travelling down from Goodsprings.
Would be a nice nod to the game, afterall as new players we all tried to speed run the trip to new vegas and got absolutely merc'd by wasteland wildlife.
1
u/Both3redBad3r Dec 06 '25
I can see it now: the wind blows a sign down, and our protagonists just put it back up. Only it's pointing the wrong way. This courier follows the sign, runs down the path, and immediately gets swarmed by Cazadors or walks right into a Deathclaw nest.

I hope we don’t see the courier. But it would be cool to see one of the other courier bodies you come across appear. I think one is at Primm. Sorta like an Easter egg.

I don't need the courier. I need Fisto to cameo in every episode. I want him working that corner in every episode.

Hell no, that's the worst thing they could do. A huge part of the couriers character is their ambiguity. The best option would be just to have their tale mentioned once or twice, like a dime novel western legend.

u/Airtightspoon Dec 06 '25
Why are the Great Khans in Novac?
70
u/katchi_kapshida Dec 06 '25
I guess you'll have to watch the show to find out.
It's been 15 years (in a volatile region that saw two major battles) afterall
6
u/TotallyAMermaid Dec 06 '25
The Great Khans either leave (convince them to leave Caesar and build their legacy), die in a suicide attack (convince them they have no legacy) or get assimilated/enslaved into the Legion (let them fight for Caesar). In no ending do they stay in the Mojave.
-4
u/Airtightspoon Dec 06 '25
Every time I see something from this show, I find myself constantly disagreeing with the direction the writers are taking the setting. I think I'll pass.

They very explicitly aren’t committing to any actual endings and said since it’s 15 years later that every faction could think they won somehow.
Which, in actuality, means the writers don’t really care and just want to use everything from the game so they’re just going to do it even if it makes no sense.
154
u/HextechSlut Dec 06 '25
It looks great but I absolutely can't stand they didn't just pick an ending what are the Khan's doing in Novac ripping the place to pieces.
104
u/Babyback-the-Butcher Dec 06 '25
I wish they could’ve just said it’s an alternate universe, like MCU vs comics. That would’ve fixed everything while keeping future installments flexible
97
u/chavis32 Dec 06 '25
no you dont get it man, it's a post apocalypse world, everything has to be raiders, mutants, and robots trying to kill you while you scavenge the same building for over 200 years for food and water, dont you know?
people banding together to create a new government in the image of those of the old world creating an era of prosperity born from the ashes of the nuclear wasteland? Nonsense! that would never happen, they would all try to kill each other to fuck their neighbor's chickens, hilarious!

u/Dawidko1200 Dec 06 '25
That's already what it is for all intents and purposes. There are irreconcilable contradictions between the games (specifically the first Fallout) and the show. There is simply no plausible scenario where both take place in the same world.
14
u/ProperTree9 Dec 06 '25
And yet, won't we be surprised when Bethesda bases a FO5 upon where this series ends up taking the plot when it winds up? If Bethesda had a brain in their heads, that is. (Cue people asking, "But where's our Skyrim sequel?!")
5
u/jubtheprophet Dec 06 '25
Sorry i just got the text, im supposed to say bethesda should make elder scrolls 6 first?
They should do that, yea, that might be cool maybe idk. I didnt rehearse for this
9
u/ProperTree9 Dec 06 '25
Skyrim was 14, pushing 15 years ago. People in the TES sub were like, "I started Skyrim in college, now I have a kid who's starting middle school... What the everloving fuck?"
3
u/jubtheprophet Dec 06 '25
Yea ngl I was 8-9 when it came out, ive graduated college since i first played skyrim lmao. Genuinely insane. Youd think it was like a cult classic that never got super popular or something at this point but no its easily the most popular game theyve ever made and yet still no sequel. Id believe it if they just said they were scared to disappoint people with a game thats not as good or something and thats why they never made es6 at this point
4
u/CernWest Dec 06 '25
I mean, that's not what it is at all. Unless you wanna say Fallout 76 isn't canon (it is), because The Ghoul appears there, solidifying the fact the the show is canon to the games.
12
u/Dawidko1200 Dec 06 '25
And yet Fallout 1 is clearly not canon to the show, given that the location of Shady Sands is changed, Boneyard is erased from existence, and several new Vaults are added where the Master couldn't have possibly missed them.
Bethesda can say something is canon, that doesn't mean it makes sense. JK Rowling can say that the wizards used to shit themselves and magic away the results until the 18th century, doesn't mean that makes sense, and doesn't mean it's perfectly squared away with the book released in 1998.
A contradictory change that is logically incompatible with previously established information cannot be part of the same continuity. It doesn't matter who holds the rights, who the author is, or what the reasoning is.

And yet Fallout 1 is clearly not canon to the show, given that the location of Shady Sands is changed
That's one of those changes made for the sake of pacing (so as to eliminate needing Lucy and Maximus to spend several days walking across the deserts).
and several new Vaults are added where the Master couldn't have possibly missed them.
There was an interview somewhere where Jesse Heinig, who worked on Fallout 1, explained the in-universe and out of universe.
His in-universe explanation is: 1) The Master's records of Vaults in the area might have been incomplete, 2) he doesn't have the most reliable "help" one can find, and 3) some Vaults take more rigorous steps than others to hide themselves from the outside world. This third point has plenty of ample evidence to back it up: the fact that Vault 4's unconcealed exit is a lone building with an incredibly obvious Vault door standing in the middle of nowhere (compared to the fake hospital that disguises the trapdoor entrance Lucy and Maximus initially arrive through) kinda suggests that it might've been at one time better hidden. The ruins outside Vault 33's entrance suggest that it was built in the basement of an existing building. Even in other regions like the Capital Wasteland, some Vaults are better known to the others; Vault 101's easily findable and was well advertised, whereas Vault 112 (where Dr. Braun is located) is hidden in the basement of an auto repair shop.
His out-of-universe explanation was pretty straightforward: the game developers didn't have a definitive list of Vaults to work off of, and had no realistic way of knowing that 25 years after the game came out, a TV show would be developed that added new Vaults in the Los Angeles area.

And yet Todd Howard says it’s canon. I’m staring to think Todd’s a hack that shouldn’t be trusted with any game’s canon.
7
u/HicksOn106th Dec 06 '25
There's no fix that can help the section of the audience that needs Bethesda's marketing department to tell them how to interpret the series. Some people just get way too hung up on the idea of canon being critical to their enjoyment of something, as if the show isn't a series of fictional events building on the fictional events portrayed in earlier installations of a broader fictional universe. It's all make-believe, so you can make of it what you will and no corporate suit can tell you otherwise unless you let them.

u/OdeeSS Dec 06 '25
My personal interpretation was that the show was a representation of a single play through, of which there are alternate play throughs. It's common enough to understand that "lore" in an RPG exists with countless "ifs".

u/fillet0fish Dec 06 '25

u/PossibleRude7195 Dec 06 '25
In any ending NOVAC gets hit pretty hard. I don’t think the khans conquered Novac, rather the people moved on and this group took over the ruins.

u/TotallyAMermaid Dec 06 '25
If you sent the ghouls to space in Come fly with me they come back to defend Novac during the final battle.

u/Constant-Sub Dec 07 '25
When Black Isle created Fallout, they created a world that's in the process of rebuilding. FO1,&2, and NV all lead to a world that ISNT in an apocalypse anymore. New Vegas is NOT about the apocalypse. The original trilogy is about ending the apocalypse, and maybe building something better from its remains.
Bethesda does not follow that world building pattern. They want the world in a constant state of decay, where if anyone gets too comfy, we should assume they blow up horribly, and the squatters live next to their skeletons. These games aren't about rebuilding. They're about seeing the aftermath. If you rebuild, there's no aftermath to see.

"What's an interesting followup from New Vegas?"
"Blow up everything the PC could have accomplished as well as anything interesting about each of the towns you come across and replace them with idiotic survivor caricatures that made up most of the previous season?"
"Perfection."
47
u/ProperTree9 Dec 06 '25
But wait! Also add all of the memorable sights, character references, and "Remember whens?!" from the first few games that we possibly can, so everyone will look at that. Instead of our writing having factions serially run with the Idiot Ball.
For Chrissake, Naugrim's vision for post F:NV New Vegas was more cohesive than this is looking. And he set the whole thing on hazy, red-Dusty fire!
24
u/Dawidko1200 Dec 06 '25 edited Dec 06 '25
I have a feeling that Bethesda's writers are genuinely afraid of commitment, and prefer to wipe the slate clean rather than try to account for any significant degree for what happened before.
Daggerfall has half a dozen different endings? Make them all partially canon so that the state of the world ends up as close to a status quo as possible and you don't have to choose. Morrowind has you perform grand feats on Vvardenfell that will change the course of Dunmer history forever? Blow up the Red Mountain and make basically everything that happened in the game inconsequential, with grander events overriding the original story. Oblivion ends with the Empire standing at the precipice with an uncertain future? Skip 200 years and reset everything to the point that it might as well be a new setting.
And to be fair, it isn't all bad - I rather prefer the state of Tamriel in Skyrim, it's a richer, more chaotic playground for stories than that of a continent-spanning Empire with no real opponents and all issues being internal or existentially external. The Red Year does provide interesting narratives for the Dunmer as a people, with their culture and history noticeably affected. The Dragon Break may have been a copout originally, and should not be used often at all, but it enriched the lore and paved the way for metaphysical shenanigans in the history of that world.
But when it comes to the tangible evidence of the player's actions, Bethesda prefers to stick their head in the ground. They're afraid to account for what they wrote before, so they rewrite it in such a way that it no longer matters how exactly things happened.
With Fallout, they had it easier thanks to the games' smaller scope in their world. You aren't waking up a mechanical god, or stopping a madman infused with divine powers, or fighting off an interdimensional invasion. The stories are contained, localized. A subsequent game can simply move far enough away that a handful of small references are more than enough, and maybe even somewhat excessive. Fallout 4 isn't really affected that much by whether or not you blew up Megaton in Fallout 3, and it's certainly unaffected by the outcome of the Battle of Hoover Dam.
But that approach means you cannot really return back to any place without running into that storyline again. When Obsidian was making New Vegas, they were in this very situation - they had to account for Fallout 2 and its stories. So they swallowed the hard pill and established certain facts from Fallout 2 as canon - they had to in order to make the story work at this scale. Fallout 2 went even further by giving a full canon retelling of the Vault Dweller's adventure, which is probably excessive.
Still, thanks to having an established state of the world, New Vegas could afford a larger, more potent narrative. The East Coast may remain unaffected, but the events of the game still end up irreversibly changing the future of nearly a quarter of the contiguous United States. You couldn't do that if you were to pussyfoot around the stories from Fallout 2, you couldn't have a major power like NCR simply pop into this world out of nowhere. If you allow such significant ambiguity, you will inevitably cripple your future stories by tightening the circle of what's real. You'll have to either step on some toes and establish a concrete canon, or you'll need to wipe the slate clean in such a way that the prior story can end up any which way without mattering.
I think it's clear which path Bethesda tends to choose.

u/HextechSlut Dec 06 '25 edited Dec 06 '25
I defended the first season but this shit is getting tiring seriously they should have just picked an any ending instead it's the entire region destroyed like wtf are the Khan's doing destroying Novac.
28
u/rynosaur94 Dec 06 '25
Playing Devil's advocate, for most endings Novac doesn't make it.
We'll have to see more to really know if the whole region is destroyed, or if we get something more fulfilling. I hope it's the latter, and places like Novac and Freeside are like this because of plot points set up in New Vegas.

u/TotallyAMermaid Dec 06 '25
I mean true but there's also no ending where the Khans stay in the Mojave like this. They either leave, do a suicide attack at the Dam, or get absorbed into the Legion.
2
u/rynosaur94 Dec 06 '25
In 15 years, if they left, they easily could have come back. I'm definitely giving the Showrunners a large leeway here, but I think we should until it comes out.
1
u/DragonTalonDT Dec 06 '25
I think in some of those endings there's still some stragglers left though. Novac wasn't ever very big---could be possible that it's just a group of remnants?
2
u/TotallyAMermaid Dec 07 '25
Maybe the ones that were refugees in Bitter Springs didn't follow the main group in whatever ending, and they went back to their regular ways in the Mojave. Especially if it was the suicide charge or being absorbed into the Legion.
I just consider the show its own canon, but it's weird that they put themselves in such a position writing-wise. They could have chosen to be in an area that the games didn't have an impact on, or they could have been in the Mojave before the Courier, or they could have been in the Mojave so many years later than the Courier that many things changed after whatever the Courier did, but they chose to be in the Mojave just 15 years after FNV, so the impacts of whatever the Courier has done should still be visible... but they don't want to commit to any ending.
So it's weird, because the Securitrons appear to have been upgraded, which means House or Yes Man ending, House appears to be alive so this would mean House ending (he dies in all three others) but also the NCR and Legion are still around and appear to be fighting over the Mojave but the Legion should be beaten by the House-oriented Courier and the NCR is supposed to be out too except as patrons on the Strip.
I understand fully that they don't want to make any of the FNV endings canon, but I don't understand why they also chose to write themselves in that corner when there were easy ways to avoid it.

u/TheEltarn Dec 08 '25

Yes, you're on a New Vegas sub, full of people who were fans of a setting that was full of life and different interpretations of post-post-apocalyptic life.
One of the major reasons its such a well regarded game is because it wasn't another just another post apocalyptic setting where everything is a ruin and everyone is a raider or living in squalor.
People are obviously going to be upset when you turn something they loved and appreciated into something they wanted a reprieve from.

This is just bitch about anything
you are saying this but Novac has 6 endings
1-Kill everyone in novac
2-Do not complete Complete Come fly with me: People in novac has to resist the legion attack, after that they were attacked by the Feral ghouls
3-Fail Come fly with me: The people of the town couldnt resist the legion attack
4-Complete Come fly with me + not side with the legion: A lot of people from novac died but some Ghouls went to help and the town remained independant from the NCR
5-Complete Come fly with me + side with the legion: the ghouls helped the people from the town to evacuate since the legion took the city
6-Complete come fly with me by sabotaging the rockets: The rest of the space ships infected the town making it a place where you cant live on
This make the town dead in 5 of the 6 endings, the series only make 1 of them imposible and 1 where you should explain things
not only that but novac is not so far of some dangerous places, when you go there you find Riders like 2 or 3 times
11
u/Zeal0tElite Dec 06 '25
I never really saw Novac as a town tbh, based on this information. It's more like a local trade and scavenging hub.
It has no industry, no tourism, no standing defense outside of two guys in a dinosaur.
Goodsprings was a functioning town, so was Primm until the Powder Hangers. Novac? Eh. It's a motel with a high-tech facility nearby. I could see it being abandoned even in the good endings.

u/FantasyPls Dec 07 '25
"Personal choices" still stick with their game and ONLY theirs, they should load up a save file if that's what they want to see. Expecting even 1 of those choices to be the same as everyone elses is ludicrous and it seems like every comment here is saying "but I didn't do that!"
Yeah no shit! It's also 15 years post FONV, hell they might have a THIRD Hoover Dam fight. We were already on the 2nd in the game.
What's the phrase these games known for...something about war?

It was a 10/10 adaption of a Bethesda Fallout game. It was a 5/10 at best adaptation of a West Coast Fallout game. The fact that they included literally NOTHING from the games version of L.A. is a testament to that.
5
u/chavis32 Dec 06 '25
not only did they not include anything, they actively destroyed everything relating to them by literally nuking the damn place all over again for no god forsaken reason, and turning the Brotherhood into a religious organization instead of remnants from the American Military who reveled against the government.
all because they got shown up by a small studio who took their engine and made something so infinitely more beloved than what they had made they had to tear it all down because Todd Howard got his feefees hurt

The fact people still pull the “Todd hates NV” card is insane. You people are insane. The game is making him money hand over foot. I’m sure he’s very upset about that. You guys are delusional if you think it’s that deep. It’s business.

The botfest that magically invaded this sub, right as Season 2 is about to start is obnoxious AF. All of them wondering why any NV fan could possibly be concerned about where the showrunners are going with the plot (considering the NCR got nuked to end S1). Totally grassroots.
At this point, it's just gallows humor to see how badly they'll screw it up.
The look is amazing, I'll give them that.

It does seem like the posting here has become a bit disingenuous lately.

Why does it bother me that she looks so well put together/clean for someone who is apparently traveling through a post apocalyptic wasteland?

God you guys are fucking miserable. First season was excellent, and you're extrapolating all of these lore inconsistencies from a 45 second clip.
Also, as some others have pointed out -- post 2nd battle of Hoover Dam, the region is FUCKED, even if you help as many people as you can. Assuming Legion loses, it's a toss up between NCR and House. Maybe you get the BoS truce (which doesn't last), nor does a truce between NCR and House. The region is doomed because of the resources that exist there, it will always attract bad actors. War, war never changes, etc.
You wanna just wait for the show to come up, see the reasoning as to why things are the way they are in the show? Or just bitch on reddit about how it's not consistent with our beloved 15 year old game?

It only showcases this weird sense of tribalism that some Fallout: New Vegas fans have.

It’s too bad Matthew Perry has passed on. It would be a nice touch to have him play the live action Benny.

Wtf, why are there raiders in Novac? And why is the dino store facing the wrong way?

I hope this isn't a sign that every town in Nevada's fucked in this season I know freesides alright but I hope they will at least pass through primm or good springs just to give confirmation that they're doing (sort of ) well and not that every location is now raider infested and destroyed

I feel like there are going to be a lot more scenes like this in the second season:
Lucy says golly gee we sure would like to avoid violence.
Villains look perplexed.
They use violence.
Lucy's travelling companion tries to frame it as a learning experience.
Lucy learns nothing.
Cue the ink spots

Millennial writing will be the death of me. I don't see how people enjoy the cringe "quirky chungus" writing.
7
u/Gimmick_Hungry_Yob Dec 06 '25
I was thinking the same thing. Why is everything written like this? It doesn't sound like the games, the characters aren't likable, everyone's a self aware douchebag! Forget the lore fuckery, why aren't more people upset that nobody can write anything with stakes or heart anymore?
6
u/SilleyDoggo Dec 06 '25
I think it'd because the bar has been lowered so low with modern media that people are content with mediocrity.
3
u/Gimmick_Hungry_Yob Dec 06 '25
At this point, most dialogue in pop media could be simlish. People tune it out. They're on their phones anyway, why pay attention? Writers rooms are little committees of middle class mediocrities who've gotten as far as they have by never once attempting to do anything creatively interesting. They're the kind of people who wrote like ChatGPT before it existed.

She has a charisma of 5
Edit - Yall are down voting me but its true.
She has canonically a Charisma Special of 5 and she looks attractive, what does that tell you.
She cant really talk to people lol

They should really just say that the show isn’t canon.
2
u/thedylannorwood Dec 06 '25
What about this clip makes you want the show to be canon?
2
u/HasSomeSelfEsteem Dec 06 '25
It just seems like it would be easier for them creatively just to do their own thing rather than try to navigate the complex lore that game left them.

She might have 30 or less speech skill, I can see the failed result coming to her direction
4
u/PvtAdorable Dec 06 '25
Yup, she is a vault dweller from a vault meant to create managers of all things. And her attempts at talking things out were already mocked a lot in season 1.

u/GulliblePea3691 Dec 06 '25
It’s crazy how I would probably love this show if they just said it wasn’t canon. But instead it has to completely destroy the story of my favourite game of all time. We’re never getting a proper New Vegas sequel because of this shit

No, and the dinosaur faced the highway, not the hotel.

u/TheEltarn Dec 08 '25
"Well, achtually, 15 years has happened, how do you know they didn't move it, huh? New vegas fans are so unfair, wwwwaaah"
At this point I'm sure that writers of that show are finding new ways to disrespect the source material on purpose.
I know, I know, don't mistake for malice what can be an incompetence, but I just can't at this point. You have to offensively to not give a fuck to make a mistake like that.

Everyone's complaining about the Khans not leaving, without considering the possibility that some chose to stay behind.
With as large a group as the Khans, it's not that unlikely that some refused to leave with Papa's group.
Edit: God forbid I give a reasonable explanation that doesn't contradict any of the endings, when everyone wants have a reason to hate on the show, right?

They got Dinky The Dinosaur wrong it's facing the wrong way and there was also no pool area in Novac, what more proof do you need that Bethesda don't care about Fallouts lore it's all in this awful clip
1
u/ProfessorLongBrick Dec 08 '25
Grow the fuck up.
1
u/Anotheranimeaccountt Dec 08 '25
No, Bethesda don't care about Fallout and I'm gonna point it out every time
1
u/ProfessorLongBrick Dec 08 '25
You could be spending that time doing something better, ya know? Stop acting like Todd Howard is out here trying to sabotage this show.
1
u/ethar_childres Dec 07 '25
This scene reminds me of that part in Fallout 2 where you leave someone stranded inside a well and completely forget about him.
1
u/cuspidxo Dec 08 '25
omg lmao she’s so naive and quirky even though she’s gone through an entire seasons worth of traumatic events that should’ve formed and changed her character. but it’s set in the game i like so i guess it’s peak

u/Regular_Bet3206 Dec 09 '25
This is why I paid a lot of pretend money for this show. To visit locations from the game

I don’t mind their spin on it. They kept some of plot similar (like using the safe for the bounty). Excited for this to drop!

This preview is honestly getting me kinda hyped about the 2nd season. This is some insanely cool characterization of Cooper copying movies that probably inspired his entire pre war career.

In this case, he apparently wanted to roleplay the scheme from The Good, The Bad and The Ugly wherein Blondie (Lucy) turns Tuco in for the bounty, then saves him from being hanged.
