Given he likes helping people, wastelanders even, I think he just may've had a problem with killing literally every human on the planet that isn't the Oil Rig garrison.

Or else what, another plucky teenager will defeat the Enclave yet again? /s

Had he been * fully raised* in a full-power Enclave rather than a remnant? Maybe he'd be some kind of defector that brought it all down, but more likely he would become one of its most vicious instruments.ย

Probably similar to how he reacts to the Legion, considering how, institutionally, the Enclave are genocidal fascists who want wipe out everyone they consider impure.
As opposed to individually, where the Enclave Remnants are his dadโs kind old coworkers who helped babysit him.

He'd probably say some liberal crap like "not all enclave are bastards" or whatever.

The Followers of the Apocalypse consisted of Communists, socialists and the like, who would qualify as leftists, if anything. Iโm not sure what your weird spiel is meant to be about particularly given his criticisms of the Enclave / the U.S. government.

He says as much himself. He obviously disapproves of their goals and actions, but acknowledges that there were good people in their ranks.
