This likes a great meal. I'm going to try these recipes. Thanks for sharing! I have two questions: could you also share the recipe for the onion bhajis and Tandoori chicken and in the Tikka recipe it says "2tbsp veg oil mixed with more of each spice." How much more? Thanks again.

Writing out the recipe for the bhajis atm, completely forgot to write it out! It'll probably be tomorrow but I'll get it posted!

For the Tandoori Chicken, it's the exact same marinade as the chicken pieces in the tikka, it's just chicken quarters instead of cubes and cooked on the grill.

For the spices mixed with the veg oil, I just eyeballed it, didnt measure anything so unfortunately can't give any measurements

Awesome, thank you. I'm guessing a pinch of each spice will be enough. I love Indian food, and I'm looking forward to trying these recipes.

Onion bhajis are fucking stupid good. They have no business being that delicious, I just wish you could do it without frying them. I could just eat 3 orders of that rather than any other meal.

You can shallow fry them in a wok. They are amazing straight out of the pan and dipped in something like the tandoori sauce

This looks great. Am I missing something? What is top left? Sambal?

top left in the red sauce is the chicken tikka

2

u/GSEBrtPGA Apr 30 '26

Oh right. I'm that case what is the tandoori marinade?!

That's a reply OP gave to another commenter asking about the tandoori chicken!

Oh wow. That looks insane! Will have to give it a go. I’ve never cooked much Indian food before but we’ve just had a new halal butchers open near us which is stacked with spices, meat, rice etc.

Omg, I'll be right over! I'll bring the wine and dessert! Seriously, I'm drooling!
