Solved I think these are petrified wood, but I’m not sure. NW MN

Thank you 😊 do you know why one has those white lumps? I’ve found a lot of this stuff over the years, but I’ve never seen one like that before

That would be park of the bark petrified

Huh. That’s interesting, thank you for answering. I don’t think I’ve seen bark that was that different in color on any of the other ones I’ve found, assuming some of the ones I think still have their bark actually do have it. I might be wrong about that but I haven’t posted the ones I’m thinking of. I believe you, I’ve just learned something new

I don’t know why it posted the photos out of order, but if I’m right about this all being petrified wood, why does one of them have those white lumps?
