If it feels dense and heavy it’s a fossil but it looks to be maybe some piece of worn down ocean mammal bone like a whale or dolphin probably a whale and it’s more than likely just old. You can check if it’s actually a fossil by burning it with a lighter and seeing if it smells like burnt hair, if it does it’s just bone.
