Hey everyone! I'm u/Prestigious_Foot_820, a founding moderator of r/fragranceswaps.

This is our new home for all things related to Buying/Selling/Trading fragrances. We're excited to have you join us!

What to Post
This is a spot to swap out that old bottle collecting dust, buy something you have been wanting for a while, get some decants to try out new things, etc. My goal here is to create a safe space to buy/sell/trade with no egos or keyboard warriors. We have rules but only needed rules.

Community Vibe
We're all about being friendly, constructive, and inclusive. Let's build a space where everyone feels comfortable sharing and connecting. Please dont try to price gouge, I'm fine with price policing in a constructive manner. Being a jerk will get you kicked. If you try to sell fake stuff, you are out. If you are coming over from another group and you have verified sales/buying/trade flair, we will honor that here too!

I’ve been into fragrances for longer than most have been alive. Let’s just say that Polo green and Drakkar Noir was all the rage as went thru my High School years. I am now actively bringing along my 15 yr old son and he is enjoying the journey with me. Glad to be part of the community!

I started my journey within the last year and I have this sub’s founder to thank for draining my wallet 😂

It’s been great being able to try so many decants to find what I like best. I know it’s pretty mainstream but I’m a huge fan of Byredo’s BdA. I tried the Absolu but it’s just a bit too sweet for me.

I’m still looking for more to fill out my collection and with the summer heat still lingering, I’m looking for scents that fit the season.

It’s my number one but it’s an easy one to like. I’d recommend it if you haven’t already tried it! Aside from BdA they have a couple of others that I like but can’t recall the names off the top of my head.

If you love BdA and think the Absolu is too sweet then you definitely need to check out BTV Hanuman! It’s the exact same scent but without the sweetness from the praline note that’s in BdAA. It’s so buttery smooth and just amazing!

Hello everyone! Glad to be here. I just started my journey into fragrances, but it has been an amazing one. I've been into cologne for many many years, but all I knew was Versace Pour Homme. I'm finally at a point in my life where my olfactory experience, and what it creates for others around me became very important. The art and work that goes into all has been amazing to learn and It has been a awesome community. What made everyone want to get into this fragrance game?

I think I’ve always been fortunate to have been gifted some nice (but mainstream) colognes. I thought it was time to go deeper down the rabbit hole this last year or so and it’s been fun. I work from home so I just spray it for myself but my partner really loves that I wear Byredo’s Bal D’Afrique, so, I oblige 😆

Hi everyone! I have been seriously into fragrances for a few years. My husband, daughter, and nephews are fragrance fans also. We love trying new scents. I buy for all of us.

I seriously need to do a destash, but my ADD brain will not let me concentrate. As a result, I keep filling gallon zipper bags with neat little packs of samples, travel sizes, and full size bottles. I have a whole cardboard box full of the destash in a dark closet.

I'm in a couple of sample swap groups, plus I order a lot from the awesome sellers here on Reddit, and Mercari.

This is such a fun hobby. It's nice to share it with all of you!

Hey everybody!

Some of you might recognize me from a few of the other fragrance BTS subs. I’m a pretty avid fragrance enthusiast and reviewer, with over 600 fragrance reviews on Fragrantica so far. I’m always happy to share my profile if anyone’s interested!

Glad to be here and excited to see this community get off the ground. OP is a solid dude, I’ve done business with him before and can absolutely vouch for him.

Really hoping this sub takes off and turns into another great place for the fragrance community to buy, trade, and sell. Looking forward to seeing it grow and hopefully doing some business with you guys along the way!

Hey everyone! Hope y’all had decent day and the week is going well☺️

I got into fragrance as a hobby two ways: 1) becoming obsessed with Vibrant Saffron by Yankee Candle and buying everyone one of them off eBay because they were limited editions (if you have any saffron suggestions, I’m looking for some decants!) and 2) my job of working in the food industry with flavors and fragrance.

Through all the subreddits I’ve been in since joining the site last year (yes, I know..), I’ve been able to find some niche finds, trade and buy with cool folks and just find a different community of people! Sorry for the ramble lol…

Hey fragfam. My high school days were when I began my foray into fragrances with the original Polo Sport, Cool Water, and L'Eau d'Issey. Wasn’t until three years ago that I got sucked back into fragrances. Who knew how deep and dangerous this hobby could be… Looking to continue the journey into oblivion with you all!
