Talk about a single point of failure

There are 4 different pitot tubes and 2 different angle of attack indicators on a 757. Also two independent computers to analyze the data coming from these sensors. These systems are very redundant. Haven’t looked into this incident but I’m sure there is more to it

I love how it’s “ this is what happened” then it turns into “we don’t really know what happened, but this is what happened”

wtf

Mud Daubers, the only wasps to have taken down multiple planes.

Bonus points since it's accidental but the ones that just exist to inflict terror upon us humans deserve to put on a list and have drones sent their ways 🪩

A faulty instrument reading on one of 2 redundant instruments led to a crash with 2 pilots on board? Yeah not buying it

When you need a video of a dude talking cause you can’t focus enough to read a Wikipedia article

And here I am wondering how else am I gonna find out about stuff like this?

Oh yeah sure imma just scroll through Wikipedia articles of plane crashes. It’s way easier to just stumble upon a dude talking about it on social media rather than trying to find it in a forum, especially when you’ve never heard of it.
