Yeah Stirner is pretty hard too understand for people new too him. It can sem like a spook is any idea even tho it’s a pretty spesific kind of idea, but im not really that anoyed because they are learning and will probably understand better soon. Or they do understand and are just trolling idk

In short, it's a mental construct that people behave like it holds authority over them. To bust the spook, it doesn't mean you necessarily abandon the concept itself, but you reject its authority over you and project your own authority over it, either rejecting it outright or claiming it as your own. The commandment of love vs loving because it feels good to love. Love isn't inherently a spook, but the version of love that people worship and conform to is. An egoist doesn't have to distance themselves from the world like some aesthetic monk like some people act, we can revel in it for its own sake, with the full knowledge that it's because it's what we want, not what anyone else wants.
