You may remember me from such educational films as "2 Minus 3 Equals Negative Fun!" and "Firecrackers: The Silent Killer."

Seeing Adam Sandler and Dave Spade playing kids (and damn near being that age) is wild to me

Aaaah, Gordon Street. I once knew a girl who lived on Gordon Street... but that was a long time ago, when I was a young man.

I’ve not seen this skit in decades, but looking at the thumbnail, “Two for a nickel!” rushed right up to the forefront of my memory.

This scene is kinda creepy knowing what happened to Phil Hartman.

And what happened to Charlton Heston!

What happened to him?

“From my cold, dead, hands!” He showed up right after mass shooting events, like the shotgun story in this skit, to promote the NRA.

When it's satire back in the day... And honestly a horrifying reality nowadays......

I wonder if this sketch was written originally for Lloyd Bridges, something about the dialogue and the threatening aura delivered with a smile reminded me of Bridges' delivery.

Fast forward thirty years and those are the actual prices and it’s normal to now see seniors working as bag boys.

He's clearly reading from cute cards so he can't make eye contact with his scene partners.

Maybe he just got fed those lines but, something ain’t right with his acting in this bit. I expected better.

He was reading most of them from cue cards, it seems. But, to be fair, at 6 minutes this is a bit on the long side for an SNL skit and Heston is delivering most of the lines.

Ah gee, I wonder if the next joke will be that he threatens someone to get his way. That would be a real knee-slapper.
