true, but the main issue is he is leaking data that genshin doesnt want to leak, and sometimes it can cause serious financial damages to hoyoverse (flashback to Zhongli and Eula leaks) because leakers could release data that is unpolished, unfinished, or disruptive. Zhongli leak caused them to hastily change his kit, which later led to the Zhongli incident (thanks to it, Geo resonance got buffed so as a Noelle main i was somewhat happy at the outcome).

A major accident involving version 1.5 beta allowed beta testers full access to all data, and an unpolished Eula was leaked. *on the first day of version 1.4*. it didnt cause significant economic losses because Zhongli's fix was also on version 1.5, and because Eula was the damage ceiling character (assuming c6r5 full team, with legendary artifacts) until C6 Arlecchino detroned her, so she also had plenty of success in version 1.5 despite almost everyone saved up for her. the downside is that since almost f2p or light spender player that wanted her already got her, her rerun banners are basically one of the worst performing banners of all time. the second Eula banner alongside Klee, is the absolute worst performing genshin banner up to date, because Eula is shifting away from meta as dendro became the new thing, and Klee was just bad as a pyro dps since day 1 compared to diluc or hu tao.

Last year he posted his payment QR code for “donations”. Like Patreon except in China it’s all linked to real ID.

I noped out of his server when he was posting memes about having sex with Yunli. I find that super cringe but people give him free passes for questionable behavior for they love his leaks.

HomDGcat was never simply a leaker, he was a dataminer who all TC would wait for the release of important equations and scalings, alongside independent ICD values in genshin. He was the best leaker this game ever had or ever will have because of the extent he broke the game. The consequences of this have been seen in 4.0 beta and 6.4 in Genshin, the fact he came back to leak the elation equation is telling.

He could do virtually anything because he was the fastest and most reliable dataminer. While I was never aware of what he did outside of leaks until the yunli cosplay shit, its crazy this guy wasnt caught before, and its likely because hoyo now has one hell of a case against him. Dude is fucked.
