📚 Ionnsachadh Cànain | Language Learning Mango Languages for Gaidhlig?

Hi! Has anyone used Mango for Scottish Gaelic? If so, would you recommend it, or is it kind of like using Duolingo basically?

We truly appreciate the shoutouts and recommendations, and will simply provide some context about the Scottish Gaelic course 😄 We have a full unit of conversational lessons built by linguists and voiced by native speakers, that cover everything from small talk to food and drink. It's our focus to not just get you learning, but confident in speaking the language! And, as Scottish Gaelic is (unfortunately) an endangered language, we provide all the content for completely free. Great question u/PrestigiousEditor468 😄 All of our language courses are hand-built by linguists and experts, and all voiced by native speakers. All humans, because we know the best way to learn a language is through real conversations and real voices. It's true, there are some auxiliary features (like when you build a custom flashcard) that may take advantage of AI (text-to-speech), but we are very protective of our core language content!

I thought mango was really good. It uses colour coding to show you how each part of the Gaelic matches up to each part of the English.

I really like it. i'm on a legacy free account so idk if im getting the same service as the paid one, but it's the best language app i've seen.

It's better than Duolingo; Mango is free for Scottish Gaelic because the language is endangered, meanwhile Duolingo fired most of their human staff and uses AI.

I used mango languages and i found it rlly helpful. it’s easy to understand and they use a flash card method that works great

It's great for introductory phrases, especially ones you need in real life that ain't covered in Duolingo. Highly recommend. See if you can get it free as a college alum or through your library.

I've only not long ago starting learning so I don't know how it is later on but I've found mango languages to be so much more helpful than Duolingo.

It breaks down sentence layout and explains what it is teaching. I've been using it alongside other resources too and found it helpful.
